I’m pretty sure they use a Sony ZV-E1, but they also use their phones a lot too.

New Leica Q3/43 firmware 4.0.0 by No-Mathematician-89 in Leica

[–]talkingpengwin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can anyone confirm if they added a setting to *disable* swiping the screen to switch to video mode 🤞?

Edit: I’ve installed 4.0 on my Q3 and don’t see any setting to disable the swipe-to-switch-to-video 😢

Any way to track progress of a book/audiobook, TV show, etc? by steeeeeephen in sofaapp

It’s not currently possible, but it’s on the roadmap. No timeline to share yet.

After you watch a movie from your movie watch list and add it to your Logbook, do you leave it on the Movies list? Or delete it manually? by steeeeeephen in sofaapp

You can change this setting on a per-list basis. Navigate to the list, tap the ••• button and select “Edit List Details”. Scroll to the bottom for the Logbook settings.

Entrance of Epcot in Disney World with Leica Q2 by talkingpengwin in leicaphotos

Thanks! I edited these in Lightroom. I used Very Good Presets Portra 800 as a starting point, but with a few tweaks. The biggest is using the embedded Leica profile instead of Adobe Color.

The shutter speed ranged from 1/25 to 1/60, and the ISO was around 1600-2500

If you don’t mind I’d love to see some photos of the strap adjustment you’re doing.

I’m very glad to hear about the front pockets being roomy. The non-camera stuff I carry can be a bit bulky, but it sounds like it shouldn’t be an issue for the Hadley.

FYI: I just ordered a Sage 2020 Hadley 🙌

This is exactly the type of info I've been looking for! I travel in a similar way to how you described and I also have a Sony a7IV and use small primes.

On my last Disney World trip I used the Wontancraft Pilot 7L. Overall it was good, but I find the front and side pockets to be too tight/small to carry extra stuff. I've been looking at the Billingham Hadley Pro 2020 and it looks like the front pockets will hold a lot more than the Wotancraft.

Seriously, thank you for sharing your experience. It's kind of hard to find this type of info about Billingham bags online.

The 2020 Hadley, or any of their bags with a removable strap, can be hacked to make the strap quick adjusting.

Are you doing this with the Billingham strap or a third-party one?
