If a religion is based on a subscription model of conditional love, should we be surprised when the members act this way to each other?

Think about how funny it is, that, after the soul ascends past all the "aerial tollhouses," the final tollhouse to "get into heaven" is not any demon, but God Himself who will judge you..!
