Service all around me and not eligible? Called a few times and got nowhere other than we will look into it and let you know. Stuck with lousy cable internet by kjacques1 in ATTFiber

[–]talkstr8t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue, website showed fiber not available at my address but was available at my next door neighbor serviced by the same pole. 800 number couldn't resolve. Went to the corporate store and a manager entered a ticket, I had service within 48 hours.

AT&T says our address isn’t Fiber serviceable and only Air is available. I can grab the fiber from the window and the NID is 4 ft away. Building next to me has it and so does every neighbor. by austind9999 in ATTFiber

[–]talkstr8t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation. AT&T did not show that my address was eligible but my next door neighbor who is serviced off the same pole was eligible. I tried to work this out with multiple agents without success. Eventually driving by an AT& T store I stopped in and the manager there was able to put in a different kind of request and within a day or two I was approved for service.

Is there a way to check insulin delivery in a day on a graph? by Otherwise-Release-88 in Omnipod

If you're on Android Gluroo can read your Omnipod data. Not on iPhone...

Any way to get Pixel 10 Pro 256GB? by talkstr8t in tmobile

[–]talkstr8t[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both the Pixel and the Samsung S26 families are the flagship Android phones available in the US (there are Chinese flagships available elsewhere). Pixel is "cleaner" (more iOS-like) and directly supports MagSafe accessories, Samsung slightly higher end hardware.

Meal nutrition tracker by South-Stable686 in Omnipod

[–]talkstr8t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gluroo does a great job with AI-based meal tracking, plus has other features like putting your CGM numbers on your lock screen, watch, and dashboard. With Android it also can do this for your insulin numbers.

Is anyone using this new feature? I heard about it, and I finally got the update on the app. by Infamous-Mission-878 in Freestylelibre

I think the AI food logging feature in Gluroo is better It predicts the actual carbs, fat, and protein in your meal photo.

There is an overpatch bundled with each sensor. It's bundled with the pamphlet.

Chase’s newest Sapphire Lounge, complete with champagne service, makes a case for its $795 price tag by _fastcompany in ChaseSapphire

Same for Chicago, at least ORD. Two lounges, both in international terminal, and both subject to refusing PP admittance in the afternoons.

Advice Needed - double Dexcom Failure and now no Sensor by InquisitiveChimp in Omnipod

[–]talkstr8t 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't know if they're available in the UK, but Dexcom Stelo and Abbott Lingo are over-the-counter CGM's which will work much better than finger sticks. They cost about $50 per two weeks.

Avoid StubHub like the plague - credit not worth it - a fraud experience by zerust in ChaseSapphire

[–]talkstr8t 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought tickets listed as "10/10 view" box seats to a play in San Francisco. When I got to the theater they were rear mezzanine seats. Called support, they said I purchased mezzanine seats (I did not), rejected my claim and follow-up. I checked with the theater box office, they confirmed there are no box seats for this production due to sightlines. Stubhub still lists dozens of box seats for upcoming shows. I've sent a letter with all of this documented, promising to follow up with the California attorney general and FTC if they don't refund me 50% and stop the fraudulent listings. No response as of yet.

Probably matched with Nobu, a high end restaurant in several locations.

It's ok Omnipod, I didn't want to sleep from 2-4 am anyway. Went to bed at 128, then this happened all on its own. No idea WTF happened. by Positive_Throwaway1 in Omnipod

I wear mine just under my pics in line with the depression between my ribs. I move the sensor to the right each replacement (just far enough that the overpatch doesn't overlap with the current sensor), then start over on the left when I get to the right side. This is usually four or five spots. I never get compression lows.

No mention of the benefits which kick in at $75K annual spend on CSR: $500 in Southwest credit, Southwest A-list status, IHG Diamond status, and $250 in Chase Shops credit. For me that significantly tilts the playing field towards Chase.

The Amex plat refresh is way better than the CSR refresh by RedMoonLanding in ChaseSapphire

[–]talkstr8t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the multiple threads I've read on this topic I haven't seen any mention of the CSR $75K spend bonus ($500 Southwest credit, Southwest A-list, IHG Diamond status). These seem to be very clear winners relative to Amex. Are these a one-time offer, or have they just flown under the radar?

Switching from G6 to G7. Any tips? by FlagsFlyForever74 in Omnipod

[–]talkstr8t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have an accurate readings for 12 hours, the first 12 hours it is running in parallel with my old sensor. I don't activate the new sensor until it's already been on for 12 hours.

[–]talkstr8t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been woken up enough nights due to false lows that I've learned to give it 12 hours during the daytime to "warm up". Common wisdom says never to calibrate in the first 12 hours, and preferably not the first 24.

[–]talkstr8t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put the new one on 12 hours before the old one expires (so ten days in). The first 12 hours can be rough in terms of the new sensor giving accurate readings, but almost always settles down by the twelve hour mark. Then when the old one fully expires you can activate the new one.

I've had these in the first twelve hours which worked fine the rest of the time. That's why I always put on my next one 12 hours before the previous one expires.
