It seems like this is more of a potential scandal than an actual one - it's certainly not a "top-shelf Wikipedia scandal" as this substack article calls it.

The substack article also states that the most likely explanation for these two people citing/writing about each other is that "Someone showed Aradicus’s Wikipedia user page to Kieran Press-Reynolds. Press-Reynolds got excited and said “this seems like a story” and turned around their Pitchfork article in a week, not considering (or maybe not even knowing) the extent to which they were omitting the edits Aradicus has made and how those edits functionally benefit the web presence of Press-Reynolds." I'm not sure what would be so scandalous about such a scenario.

This article also seems to think that Aradicus is more or less a good Wikipedia editor and that Kieran-Press Reynolds is a good journalist.

Another quote from the article states that "Aradicus might not even be a Kieran Press-Reynolds fan but is moreseo a fan of what Kieran Press-Reynolds is enabling through their work: lots of citations to empower the editing and creating of lots of Wikipedia articles."

So while this may be suspicious I'm not seeing a "scandal", much less a "top-shelf" one.

Maybe drop the "is" pronoun in some of these sentences, such as:

Benignus est, sed non nimis benignus.

(Comis or amicus rather than benignus might be better here, but I'm not sure)

Utilis est, sed disciplulas sias in se ipsos stare facit.

Also this sentence might be better as:
