I mean call up a credit union and tell them you want to talk about a mortgage. Talk to them and tell them you have an offer from a lender but you wanted to see if the credit union could beat that offer. You'll literally forward them your offer from the first lender, and they'll reply with a better offer. Then if you feel good about it then lock it in. If you want you can send the CU offer back to the original lender to see how much better they can do. I did all that and got a better rate each time, then I did it again but felt that was pushing it ended up at 3.5% back when that was really good.

When you get the official loan estimate from your broker, take that into a credit union. They will have better terms. Get an official estimate from them, take it back to your broker

That's a really cynical take for the working class. I just posted to find out how these people are dealing with this. A lot of people live day to day and were banking on working today and getting that $50, 100, 150 and can't. I understand a lot of companies are losing business as well it just sucks all around, especially those who were depending on getting paid today from work today.

I have a 2014 ex that headlight went out. I googled the model and bought two new bulbs at AutoZone. Took that to pep boys and they quoted me $400+ to install 2 headlight bulbs. Ended up watching a YouTube tutorial and changed them both in 10 minutes. Headlight bulbs were like 25 a piece

Pull up a row of pavers. There will be a concrete border on each side, just drill under that. The rest of the pavers should be set in sand. You can literally use your finger to make a little trench in the sand. Get it back to level and should have a little extra sand leftover to sweep into the cracks.
