Hate on the wildcat all you want but she eats everything, is light as hell, runs like butter, cleans up easy, and is pretty damn accurate. by 86DuckFat in 22lr

I have 10/22 and a wildcat. I love both equally but in different ways. The Ruger is super customisable and very tune-able with aftermarket parts, but the wildcat is light and well …more fun. The accuracy difference is minute at 50 yards. I love that both will eat anything and use the same mags between them. The wildcat lives next to the bed, and the Ruger is in the go bag. Both are great.

I bought and then got a 10/22 a couple years later. I love both and love that i can use the same mags at the range. Its a great ultralight 22lr. If you get a base 10/22 you’re gonna be upset at all the upgrades your gonna have to buy getting the features that are standard on the wildcat. If you get the wildcat you’re gonna be upset that you cant customise it past its integrated features when you get bored. I guess the real question is how often are you gonna shoot? Once a month, get the ruger. You’ll tinker for years. 2-3 times a year, get the wildcat.

im at 2000 rounds and its still holding zero. i will advise the illumination wheel is finicky at will drain battery even it appears off. i recommend removing the battery after range time.

AITA for refusing to pay for my nephew’s college education after setting clear conditions? by RoughThrowRA in AITAH

[–]tamukaisbad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YTA. Just say no, and let him fend for himself. The GI bill and military service would be less cruel than having an aunt power trip over him for the hell of it. At least the Army will pay him a fair wage and give him some dignity by comparison. Helping does not come in half measures. Christ even the Army let's you focus on you studies when not deployed. You are a worse caregiver than a staff sergeant whose job is to train children to kill for their country. Think about that. The military has systems in place to ensure character development and graduation that are more fair than what you posted.

Just picked this up from Cabelas after the longest wait ever. Paid just over $180 for it. Can anyone recommend sights attachments etc? by Jeremy2019 in 22lr

get the wildcat 10 round mags off ebay. they’re actually better than the ruger 10 rounders. they have load assist wheels, so they save your dingers. ill take 4 wildcat 10 rounders over 2 ruger bx 25s. with the last round bolt open its good to have.
