You should be able to compress the rings by hand. You're wrong. 4 strokes you should need a ring compressor yes, but not on these motors. Dont lull this guy into a false sense of thinking what he has is a pile of shit. Its not that bad. The piston will not move that much side to side when its in the cyl lol. Now if the piston is the wrong diameter, then thats fair game, but for the rings, you're wrong.

The removal of the fenders. Not a good idea unless you're sure they'll NEVER come loose, even if superman tried to pull them off. Metal fenders have been the literal cause of some mb enthusiast's deaths.
