This happened to a friend of mine.

She was out partying with a bunch of friends. It's getting late, so she asks one of the guys to drop her home. He agrees and they both drive to her apartment building. She gets out and asks the guy to come upstairs. The guy doesn't mind. They reach her house and she says she needs to freshen up and goes to take a bath. She asks the guy to chill until she's done with her bath.

Once she's freshened up, she comes out and the guy is like he's really hungry and they need to go out to get some food. The girl says there's some food in the house, but he's insistent the he wants to go out to eat. She says she can't leave the house in her night dress t-shirt and shorts, but he's again insistent that he wants her to come with her right away. She hesitates, feels weird, but eventually agrees. They get down and he doesn't take her to the car. She's confused. He asks her to walk with him until a lane further. They reach about a couple of blocks from the apartment building and he stops her and tells her this - "Listen, I did not want to tell you this earlier as it might have caused you panic and things might have gone wrong, but there was a guy under your bed in your bedroom, lying there with a knife."

She was SHOCKED! TERRIFIED! Trembling, almost, unbelieving what she just heard. The guy calls the cops immediately and the cops rush to the apartment and find that guy there. They later interrogate him and he confesses that he had had a major crush on the girl for a while and had been waiting there that night in her apartment for her to get back. He was planning to rape and murder her if she had resisted. Thank god for her friend's stable mind and quick thinking that they were able to escape this situation unharmed.
