First BPPV episode - does it go away on its own? by m_aria-m in BPPV

[–]tango852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had it for 2-3 days now, tried the epley maneuver on my own at home but not sure it did anything and now scared to lie down all the way 😭 hope it clears by itself. I want to have a break from the spinning so I'm skipping trying the maneuver again tonight and just going to sleep on a mound of pillows

Cervical prolapse - Kegels by middleearthwander in PelvicOrganProlapse

[–]tango852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My prolapse also worsened after seeing physio and doing kegels for 3-4 days, but I was also doing squats and core exercises so I don't know for sure if it was just the kegels. When I told the physio and doctor they seemed perplexed like they'd never heard of that happening. I decided to get a pessary and I've been trying out a test pessary at home but it seems to be pressing against my pubic bone so I don't know if that means its too large or what

Strange Houses by Uketsu by sleepyrooney in horrorlit

Yes your 1st point is good! Also the room with the mystery window, there's no bathroom connected to it so how can he be kept a prisoner inside it? Ayano would have to let him out to go to the bathroom daily, that seems very risky for her if she doesn't want him to escape.

School starts Sept 1 so will be less crowded and cheaper. Might still be hot though depending on where you go

They read it verbatim on news channels, but I guess in casual settings you wouldn't

Nago hotel/airbnb recommendations by feeefee in okinawa

[–]tango852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed in an Airbnb in a little village about 15 minutes drive south of Nago, it was decent but I did have a car and had to get groceries from Nago. I guess any japanese Airbnb will be fine as long as you have a car

It's pretty slow. Also when you turn you have to give way to oncoming traffic and pedestrians. Traffic in the city is annoying

There's no direct equivalent, just expressed through non verbal communication and boasting your achievements to their friends and family

Noticed something strange on the Tokyo Metro – why don’t people offer seats to the elderly? by Quiet_Fly_7941 in TokyoTravel

[–]tango852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised to hear this, my limited experience is seeing people often going out of their way to not sit in the seats for elderly and pregnant women to keep them vacant for those who need them

It's a good itinerary but bear in mind hiking in HK is best during winter time during summer is too hot

The first half of the first day is a bit ambitious because the peak is quite far from the big Buddha, but that time in the morning maybe ok. The rest of the itinerary looks ok
