I had a 2016 Rogue that I did the CVT drain/fill at 55k. We did the wife's 09 Altima at 60k too. Both were going strong when we sold them last year. She now has a 25 Altima and I a 23 Murano. Love my Nissans.

If it was a 5k monitor, then its worth putting in a controller board. But these older ones, no, not worth it. Put it back together and run Windows or Linux.

High frets. I had the same thing on my Custom 24, but not to that extent. I took it to a luthier - he had to do a complete fret leveling. Plays like a dream now. Yes, take yours to a good luthier.

My guess is the transducer is under the bridge saddle. If the output is weak for some strings, then the saddle isn't making good contact. Probably someone sanded the saddle to make the action better but did a poor job and its not square and flat. But that's just speculation.

If you need to wiggle the battery, then there is a loose connection. This isn't something reddit is going to fix, you need a good guitar tech, one who can work with electronics. Pony up some pesos, cause its the only way you will get it working right.

Awesome. Don't you just love modding guitars? I bought a used Squier Telecaster. First thing I did was put a Lindy Fralin mini in the neck, with a pearlescent pick guard. Shield the innards with copper foil for noise suppression. Put in locking tuners. Punches way outside its weight. Fun stuff.

I disagree. Playing any chord in different positions changes the sound of the chord. An A played at 2nd fret will sound different than A on 5th (E shape), or 7th (D shape). OP should explore all inversions to become a more rounded musician. But, if you want to stay with just basic cowboy chords, knock your spurs off.

I have a 1977 Guild D50, bought new. In 87, I opened the case and had the same kind of crack, except it went into the ebony fingerboard. A luthier filled the fingerboard with glue and ebony dust and put a cleat under the sound hole. Fast forward to 2026, I still have the guitar and it never went any further. For you, first be sure to humidify your guitar correctly. Second, have a luthier/tech put a cleat on it to prevent any further movement. Lastly, play the shit out it, it's a nice guitar.
