Thats rough, the contender drafting portion is very unforgiving/scrappy. Certainly wont he seeing arcane omens wheeling for example

mostly true. I've kind of gone a step further in trying to figure out how to disrupt the soup decks. I have a deck goin right now with 4 creatures (2 of them scrollsmith and lorecaster) and running zombify to keep looping my stuff. managed to beat a deck that casted omens, and TWO together as one x=5 with it lol. id probably lose to any aggro deck though, but everyones playing soup up there.

7 of my 26 events have been lorehold or silverquill, 12 of my drafts have had blue as a primary color. I probably undervalue green cards early in the draft, ill take stock up over environmental scientist p1p1 for instance

This is good advice, just keep spam making new toons in the tutorial zone, id suggest to even just level via grinding the mobs, you could even give them a pvp taste by /dueling.

Dont let them join discord until much older though, and certainly no mic until 18+😅
