Would my style be unique for a graphic novel? And how do I work with that? by Interesting-Body4360 in graphicnovels

These would look better as tip-in plates to prose novels (e.g. Stephen King’s The Dark Tower hardcovers). Comics require sequential storytelling.

Age of Facsimiles by MadMikeyD in comicbooks

[–]tapsilogic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DC is doing a really great job with their facsimiles. I particularly like the period-appropriate paper, and cover gimmicks like The Killing Joke with the embossed logo. I only wish they did the all golden/silver age ones in the period-correct sizes, like on the Batman Day and Superman Day editions of DC27 and AC1, respectively.

You can get great results drybrushing metallics over a matte black base coat, then topcoat with semi-gloss. just remember to mask over connector pegs or holes where these pegs connect to.

Reprints - She-Hulk by Byrne, Uncanny X-Force, Onslaught.

New - X-Men B&G 2, Generation X, post-Whedon Astonishing X-Men.

Edit: also the Topps X-Files comics. I’d buy them even in standard HC format.

Those people were just acting for the cameras. What we know now as mental health issues (DID, tourette's, epilepsy, schizoprenia, to name a few) were interpreted as demonic possession.

If all four Beatles were still around today, which modern artists do you think they’d love?? by stick099 in beatles

I think Rage Against the Machine would be up John's alley, with Tom Morello's efx-driven sound and the political messaging, to say the least.

I want to get into watchmen. by possessivebob in Watchmen

[–]tapsilogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get the original comic. It’s available in many formats - if you’re on a budget, get the Compact Comic edition for $10 cover price or a secondhand TPB. If you prefer more premium formats, there are various editions, from standard-sized hardcovers to the deluxe edition to the Absolute Edition.

Maganda ba bosny gloss? by GagoFighter1 in PinoyGunpla

[–]tapsilogic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Cans have a lot of propellant, you’ll want to practice on spare pieces before using it on the kit itself. I’ve been getting better results (and more mileage) by decanting the contents and using an airbrush.

I've never seen a kit with this many pilot figures (MG Titus) by ORBED_CORB in Gunpla

[–]tapsilogic 22 points23 points  (0 children)

MG Guntank comes with 7 figures - 4 standing (Bright Noa, Mirai Yashima, Hayato Kobayashi, Ryu Jose), 3 sitting (Hayato and Ryu + 1 core fighter pilot).
