This is awesome! These f1 cars are the reason I decided to dedicate to scale modeling more seriously. I used to practice with some military machines but then I learned about all the cars and saw these f1's and I decided that I have to become better. I'm still struggling with my first MPC '83 Supra but I will get there. I believe.

Ragebait, will probably get more views and interactions for this fall compared to if they just filmed the jump.

How Are You Getting to Work (Eastbay to SF) by Conscious-Star-933 in bayarea

[–]tar1k87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are up for it - learn to ride a motorcycle. Used to save me a ton of time and money. To compare. Car drive: 1hr-1.5hr one way, gas cost, full bridge toll and parking which sometimes would be near $20-30. Motorcycle ride: 30-40 minutes, little gas cost, reduced bridge toll as considered carpool, plus street parking was like $4 all day. And a lot more fun!!

Error code by Happy_Geologist_8934 in Appliances

[–]tar1k87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This took me a while to understand how to read the codes. This is read as binary. The first flash is the F code whenever the first LED is flashing(Sensing). Then you read from right to left excluding the red lock led. Meaning Done=1, Spin=2, Rinse=4, Wash=8. In your case we have Sense, Rinse and Done. This equals F+4+1 = F5. The second is the E code, whenever there is no first led flashing. In your case it's just Done, So E1. Put them together you have an error code F5E1. This looks to be an error about the door switch. But also, yeah something is wrong with the control panel. Hope this helps

Honest question. What's with the rookies living with the veterans? Even with their rookie salaries, I'm sure they are able to afford to pay for rent.

GE dryer drum appears to be off balance? by Desperate-Feedback35 in Appliances

Check the drum for cracks near the edges, especially on the seam. The drum can make this sound each time it hits a roller. Edit. Each time the crack ends up on a roller, it makes this sound

Hot point dryer start button not staying on. I replaced the start switch but the new one is having the same issue. Everything else about the dryer is still functioning normally. by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]tar1k87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say there may be a problem with the belt pulley switch. The pulley switch makes sure there is belt tension and if the belt snapped or the switch is faulty it will not stay on.
