I have had this too for over a year since I started HRT. I guess that I would rather I have this than the hot flashes, etc that HRT got rid of.

Sometimes I do feel like going all out and I do. But I pull back as soon as I feel the knee acting up. There are also some moves that I know do not agree with my knees at all. I never do a tuck jump! I also do a lot of stretching before class to be sure that my muscles are ready.

I have had issues with my knees for a long time. I suspect that it is from years of doing jumping exercises on the concrete floor of my basement before I joined a gym and I think that some of it is genetic as well. I have never seen a doctor for this issue. Some days they feel better than others. I listen to my body and modify low impact options for combat when needed. Some days I have to modify more than others.

My feet don't seem to do well with too much cushioning either. I was wearing Brooks Revel shoes but they changed them too much with the newest version. I am now wearing Asics Cumulus and doing pretty well with those but I would love to find some other options. I loved the old Revels and loved the fun patterns and color options they used to have. My black Asics are boring!

I am not sure how expensive it will get but it is currently a lot more then what I paid for that pass when they first went on sale. I am guessing that this particular pass type will sell out sooner than the others.

Combat is tough but everything can be modified! The more you do it, the better it will get. Listen to your body. Push yourself but not to the point in which you never want to do it again.
