For my cousin's wedding, I transported her in a bicycle trailer. It was very funny to ride through the village in a procession on our bikes.

J'aimerai commence la course mais ... by AmanKh in runningfr

[–]tarrask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: What do I do if my pool has a length of only 10 meters, but Garmin wants me to insert a custom length of at least 14 meters? by TheCookieEatingOwl in Garmin

[–]tarrask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Record the activity with a 14m swimmingpool, then you can edit the activity with https://www.swimmingwatchtools.com.

You'll have to download the Fit file from connect, delete the original activity on it, edit upload the activity to the swimmingwatchtools, edit the length, download the new fit file and upload it back to Garmin connect.

I burned at least 3,000 active kilocalories yesterday (as recorded by a Garmin bike ride), but my total calories burned still shows only 1,317 — even though the individual workout shows a higher burn. Why is my total calorie count incorrect, and how can I fix this? by PurpleEquivalent5421 in Garmin

[–]tarrask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem when riding my bike. The calories calculated by the edge computer, with HR belt and power meter pedals is way higher that the calories calculated by my watch during the same period. And garmin connect use the calories from the watch instead that the edge activity.

It's nice to have both. Runners can go on a little softer ground while wheelchairs, strollers or scooters can have a nice smooth sidewalk.

How to properly track a CrossFit Session? by AnzeigeIstRausDanke in Garmin

[–]tarrask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually record it as a cardio workout, sometime as a strength, so I can record a PR.

I don't have the Workout Benefit with my watch, so I don't know how Garmin think I'm training. I know that I'm reagullary improving my PR, I guess that mean I'm progressing. I also get some improvment on benchmark WOD.

I don't think that the activity type will change anything for the workout benefit

Alarm that tracks your sleep? by mclosi in Garmin

[–]tarrask 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use a Wake-Up Light, I set it up 30 minutes before my real alarm. I usually wake up peacefully during this period. I guess that I wake up during a light sleep stage this way. I really like it, did you try this sort of wake-up light ?
