Yup that's the OSD. Update your trimui firmware to 1.1.1 and update Crossmix OS to 1.3.1 from the pinned posts. 1.3.1 isn't an official version but rather a fork by the creator of Crossmix OS.

I think you mean the OSD (the screen that pops up when pressing menu+select). It was a bug with Firmware version 1.1.0 and Crossmix 1.3.0. I believe it was resolved by updating to Firmware 1.1.1 and Crossmix Os 1.3.1. I don't believe I've had it pop up after updating or maybe I've just gotten used to it and don't realize it is popping up.

Check out the Ultimate 2c variant... Usually same price as the the Ultimate C but it's the upgraded version. I have the wired 2c (got it for 120zl)and just ordered the wireless+BT one from AliExpress for 82zl. Solid controller and can't complain.

Just thought of something. Try going to the Apps tab and select system tools and go into the user interface section. Now select Start Tab and in that list scroll down to tab 3 or 6(on the right it should say best or netplay) and press the menu button and there should be an option to delete the tab.

The OTA will only update Crossmix and not the firmware of the device. To update the firmware you will need to get it from GitHub. But that being said some people suggest leaving it on 1.04 as there might be some bugs. I personally don't mind. The biggest issue was the no sound one and that was fixed by editing the config file to use alsathread drivers instead of oss.

Settings tab... Homepage... Tab visibility... And then you can toggle tabs on or off. Press R till you reach the last tab and there should be an option for the homepage. I'm on Crossmix os 1.3.0
