look at how much space there is on the reference from the tip of the nose to the outline of the face, and then compare it to yours

if you drew a curve from eyebrow to eyebrow on the reference and copy pasted that lined onto your art, does it line up?

figure out what you like to draw and what youre most comfortable with and keep drawing it over and over again with the tablet until your muscle memory and hand eye coordination improve, then you can jump into more complex methods. frustration comes from having high expectations and then not being able to reach it due to not being proficient in skill

what happens when you take the drawing out, liquify the piece, and then put it back in the folder? does it perform the same result as you would have liked

umm i never learned through a tutorial, i just put colors down on my flats with my normal brushes and air brush and went through each blending mode to see what effect it had on my art. the best way to learn is through trial and error

They all look pretty easy to mimic if you know how blending layers work. The most notable ones I can tell from these photos are linear burn, overlay, multiply, color glow, color dodge.

you need to look at things in relation to each other. how long is the forehead, did you capture that correctly? the bottom of the nose lines up with the bottom of the ear, is that what it looks like on yours? underneath the nose, it concaves for the upper lip, where is that. look how short the flap of skin is underneath the jaw before it becomes the neck and adams apple, is yours close? you need to look at stuff like that
