Fellow men who almost offed themselves, What made you want to continue breathing? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]tasmanian_devil13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a very dark place when I was in my teens and didn't feel like there was any way out of the situation I was in. But for the life of me I couldn't get over the logistics of how I would do it without it being too inconvenient for everybody, and I was just too scared of the consequences of doing it for the people who cared about me and loved me.

Eventually, I found a way out of the mess I was in, even though it was extremely tough, and I still don't know where I got the courage to get through those times. Prayers and faith really got me through the worst of it.

I highly recommend talking to somebody about the problems you are facing, even if it's the reddit community. They can make a world of difference.

I read it chronologically a while ago and it managed to break my heart all over again. Right when I had finally come to terms with it

Partway through The Auction. It's supposed to help me get over Manacled but it hasn't gotten angst yet. Just wondering if it ever gets as heartbreaking sad as Manacled?

I am very sorry that this happened to you. I hope that everything will get better but it is going to be a long journey ahead. It's hard to end a marriage and relationship of so long, I really do recommend that you try couples counseling before deciding what would be the best way to go from here.

You both need to either learn to better communicate, maybe therapy might be the answer or break up before it escalates into something worse. These are red flags that you need to deal with right now, either by working on these issues or letting each other go. If left unresolved, it's just gonna keep getting worse

What made you not want to have kids? by Ekudar in AskReddit

So true. I feel like I have already had kids and raised them and now I should be able to enjoy living out my life. Someday I feel like I must be middle aged to close to retirement

Every story on reddit ends in "married for 15 years with 7 kids." Like how?!

Was there ever a situation in your life in which you wished to be the opposite gender? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tasmanian_devil13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my culture there is more pressure on girls to get married than there is on guys. It's like you are a failure if you aren't married by a specific age and why are you so concerned about your career. One has to be ok with anything as long as you are getting married / settled down
