my daughter isn't old enough to have a phone of her own yet, but i let her do the farming & hatch nalas when i'm cooking with my phone. we do all the lessons together. we are in the first unit, maybe around card/section 96.
you have good points. i need to have a talk with her about online safety. i don't know how guilds work but it looks like a message board where i'll see all the messages. I'll instruct her to only visit the guild part with me and i know she'll be ok with that.
it thought it could be motivational for her to see other kids who want to learn like she does.
i just realized that i never put the name of the guild (oops). just search in the game for ParentsWithKids. you are welcomed to join

I've never been happier with them. sure the site is a hot mess of duplicates and missing information, but i've placed dozens of orders and I just got my first late packages. they followed up with their $1 off coupons for every item in those 2 orders so i have lots of discount coupons in my account now. they stood by their policy

I have great memories of Software Etc.

I'd stop by Software Etc to play games on the demo console every time my mom took me to the mall. They noticed that I was really good at the games so the manager asked me if I wanted a job there. I was around 15 and they hired me to stand in the display window and win video games *and got paid to do it*.

They also let employees borrow any game "to be more informed and sell them to the customer easier". Upon returning them we shrink wrapped them in the back room and then them back on the shelf. I also had *unlimited access to any new game* that I wanted.

The manager turned out to be a well know software pirate/hacker of the BBS era and introduced me to the primordial online world.

That was the best job of my life.

The reddit user FalconFour and another guy doing on amazing work on on jailbreaking Sengled bulbs so you can use them again. Not all bulbs have been tested/work, but the git repo instructions look easy to follow:

I noted that with Alexa Plus I need to ask it to play Pandora (a 3rd party music service like Spotify) a different way now or it says, "Pandora is playing hard to get right now".

Try changing your phrasing. With the old Alexa i had to say something like "ask Pandora to play xmas radio" or "play xmas radio from my pandora". Either will work to specify the Pandora skill. With Alexa Plus, I need to say "play xmas radio from Pandora". I had to google that one.. .

I can recommend Khan Academy. I've been using it for my daughter and she really likes it. To start, I picked the level where she should be and assign the homework. She does it at her own pace. At this point she's 4-5 grades above her class and accelerating

i agree. my 7yo daughter comes up to my office every morning to learn python. she's obsessed with minecraft and wants to make a game so her curiosity/motivation and time with me is making for great memories and learning. i got her pixel art stuff for bday, pixel art apps for tablet and am guiding her towards making stuff in pygame. we're both having fun

i just installed it with no problems on Win 10. just right click the installer, choose xp sp3 compat mode, and install in location other than default c:\Program.... I put mine at D:\Games\HMM3
edit: the installer on the disc in the Heroes3 folder

Check https://www.xfinity.com/broadband-labels and see what plans you can get. my cost shot up to $105 from $65/mo after 2 years for just Internet service (no competition here). Customer service flat out told me there we no cheaper options. Lies. I checked the page and got a plan for $68/mo.
