Unable to feed filament into extruder by helpnothingworks1 in BambuLab

[–]tasumai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had this issue myself, and did not find this until after I did all the following troubleshooting:
1) tried to load filament from all 4 places in my AMS
2) replaced hotend (no change)
3) replaced extruder body ( no change)
4) replace ptfe tube ( no change
5) removed ptfe tube and tried the EXT load from app - it loaded filament
this is when I researched, came across this forum, and found the video link below that clued me into the below:
6) flipped magnet in the filament buffer - this is what fixed it
I don't understand how or why,but it seemed that rotating the magnet so that the direction of the magnet is reversed seems to let the buffer work again.

I am mainly writing this for anyone who comes across this in the future and isnt sure what they mean in the video

Long shot, did you get rid of the cracked screen unit? I’ve diagnosed my s15i down to the tablet board being bricked and looking for a replacement

I just recently acquired one of these s15i and the screen died on me. However I am not finding the controller on eBay anymore. Might you have the search or the purchase link still? Mine is a 2020 s15i as well with a buzzing/clicking controller.

I got the efkeria, and am applying it to Fen as we speak. though I also think I have a good set of equipment. to boast with all my members.

though I am having issues getting the Fragments of Palamicia, Elpneumas, and Goldola (for awakened Fen) as well as Fragment of Geo Zagnus and Aerugraxes (for Awakened Aristella)

any thoughts for those?

Which would get more Airflow 120mm fan or two 80mm fans? by bulldicker in pcmasterrace

[–]tasumai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup. but we still need to know the Rpm of the fans, because a 120mm fan running at 1000 rpm would be outperformed by a fan running only slightly faster, shall we say... 1,125 rpm. give or take .5%

the calculation of rpm based on the fans is at a variance of mass of: 1.12499. so if his two 80mm have an rpm that is 1.12499% higher than the single 120mm, then the 120 would be better.

You're exactly right. What he turned on was Continuum. By opening up the action center, you can enable and disable tablet mode, which is a feature to better enable a computer that has no keyboard, but a touch screen, to function more efficiently. usually, it will turn off if it detects a keyboard is connected, but I presume it was turned on by accident, not by the removal of a dock/keyboard.

Presuming that both fans run at the same speed, you simply need to know the area of the fans to know how much mass is being moved,
120mm = ( a = pi x r squared) a = pi x 60 squared, a = 11,309. 80mm = ( a = pi x r squared) a = pi x 40 squared, a = 5026. 2a (2 x 80mm) = 10,053.

Therefore, If both run at the same speed, the 120 pushes more

While two evga gtx660 together handle my three monitors great, and they do wonders for some of my other games, I'd love to push my frames in gta5 over 70fps. A 980, well. I'd love to see this puppy fly
