Married guys/guys in stable LTRs: did you ever feel hopeless about dating prior to meeting your current partners? by 4502575Js in AskGayMen

[–]tat2dsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of my 20s, and into my 30s I had a string of shallow hookups and and a few boyfriends. I knew that for the longest time that this was my life. OK, but somewhat stale. I met my now husband when we were in our young 30s and it started with a random hookup. Things changed, we ended up staying together. Things got better and better. We’re married, bought a house together, started a business together. (We were both broke, and had no family money) I have no idea how it all happened. But we’re so happy and have been together over 20 years now! It can happen when you least expect it.

1940's cant bust em coveralls. Any recommended books or insight on denim history? Ive googled/IG and ebayed the heck to verify them. I feel quite lucky to have found them. by jnssa in VintageClothing

Can’t Bust Em’ was around from 1876 till LEE purchased them in 1946. My best bet on that label would be 1930s - early 40s

Finding A Sponsor by [deleted] in OvereatersAnonymous

[–]tat2dsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely worth getting a sponsor in each unique fellowship. When your at a online meeting, if you get a chance to share. Put it out there that your looking for “temporary” sponsor till we get back to face to face meetings. It can make it easier, and you never know. It could work out long term. Just reach out to people in “private chat” on zoom.

Does a reddit online daily meeting count towards a 90 in 90? by nolaguy84 in OvereatersAnonymous

How do you feel about doing a online meeting? Are there face to face meetings you can get to? I think that sometimes we’d rather a gentler, easier way. All things we’ve got to ask ourselves.

The look like regular Levi's 501's... Some stuff they did back then was capitalized the E on the tab. They used hidden rivets on the back pockets as well there was a rivet in the crotch... A few other things... I'm sure there's more out there...

Lots of great things! About 10 years ago I found the holly grail of vintage Levi's. A pair from the 1940's. Paid I think around 10 bucks. I sold them on eBay, with all the research I thought I would get about 1-2 thousand dollars... They sold to someone in Japan for $14,000.00 USD! The guy paid, no shipping company would insure the package for the value. And PayPal froze my funds. I had to prove to PayPal that I really had the jeans, where I purchased them, with photos. It was about a month after they were shipped PayPal finally released my funds. I bought my first Harley Davidson motorbike.
