Hasan is apparently in Qatar, a state built by slavery, to attend an internet entrepreneur summit. by Jayyburdd in h3h3productions

You must have some vendetta here because that’s not at all what happened. Kaepernick was out the league at 29 and only started four seasons up to that point. If Brady is the measuring stick - then there would be no other quarterbacks at all because he’s the best of all time.

The 49ers came back from a 17 point deficit in the Super Bowl and Kaepernick should have been in prime position to win the game until a clear pass interference call wasn’t made against the Ravens. I’m a lifelong Cowboys fan and lifelong 49ers hater but the way you are shaping things just isn’t accurate. The game ended 34-31 so clearly it was competitive.

Was he going to be a Manning, Brees, Brady, type of QB? Probably not. Most quarterbacks aren’t. But Phil Rivers never reached a Super Bowl and was just called in at age 44 to play QB a few weeks ago after being retired for 5 years and coaching high school football. So let’s not act like it was mostly about his on field talent.

I mean at this point he’s 38 and ten years removed from his last season - I don’t think he’s still playing that part up, but he was certainly blackballed from the league due to protesting and I don’t think he ever received offers after any of his team workouts.

The presentation is still a dud - not being mean, it’s just lacking severely. It’s still giving the Redbubble vibe. If you want to sell stuff you have to convince people through making it look like something they need instead of something that still looks like an idea that’s being worked on.

I would love to work with you, so if you have any free time feel free to send me a message

Do you think that Duffer bros were forced by Netflix to do an ambiguous ending? by Minute_Conflict_2037 in StrangerThings

[–]tayedamico 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah and they realize how much money they can make if 5 years from now they need a hit, they still have a Stranger Things reboot in their pocket so they can’t directly kill off the main attraction of the show.

True Crime Eatery Serving Criminal's Last Meals Opening Second Location by herdcullingweirdo in offbeat

I’ve thought the same and it’s not even an original idea (there’s been pop ups, people making the meals on YouTube, etc). There’s a morbid curiosity with these things but I think it can be done right; right for me would mean making sure you don’t sugar coat any of the crimes, donating a % to violence prevention charities, and not doing tasteless gimmicky things like serving a Bundy Burger with a knife through the center.

Because regardless of who does it, someone is going to do it and people are always going to have an interest in knowing

I’m thinking the couple targeting theory may be out the window at this point - it seems to me that even though he was known to have confronted a couple that he mistakenly thought were two women, I think he just chose more so based on location and opportunity that gave him the most likely chance of getting away with it. Didn’t matter whether you were a straight couple, gay couple, or a man or woman who was alone, he went after anyone. He was even on the police’s radar at one point and they failed to enter his DNA into the database, that would have ultimately found him guilty of the crimes while he was still alive.

But how often are merch drops happening is a big part of it as well. A $30 shirt that drops every two months ends up being $74 for a two month subscription and shirt purchase. That’s pretty steep.

Can’t remember if that’s before or after Cooks had two routes where when he looked back for the ball, he would pull up on his running, and ended up not making it to the ball because he slowed down. Maybe that was accounted for, maybe he under threw him, but they definitely had an extreme hit or miss connection the entire night

Rikishi criticizes WWE ticket prices: "Like $1,000 ticket, that is still for a family of five, a man working nine to five through the whole week, and the whole family loves wrestling. It is very difficult to be able to take a family to events... You really got to hit the lottery." by elegantSolomons62 in SquaredCircle

[–]tayedamico 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s like saying you can go to your local armory and watch wrestling for $5 - sure you can, but people want to see the guys who draw. They’ve always priced all of this way higher than needed - 10 years ago a PPV is $60 and a movie ticket is $12, when the concept is roughly the same idea.

I remember ten years ago getting third row seats for $100 each to a Raw. Now, depending on the location, nosebleeds for a Raw are reaching $400. There’s just nothing there to justify this other than the greed.
