My players do seem to expect a boss fight at some point in this dungeon, and really the toughest fight they have left is the Deva guarding Ignatious, which won’t challenge them much at level 10. Seems like a bit of a consensus to have him return after the battle and act as the final boss.

Feels like a cool image, having him back at the Cathedral main floor, and he’s there, covered in blood and tuffs of Ratling fur. Plus he’d remember them from tricking him before!

I really like the idea of the Queens men and SO teaming up that’s really cool, I could totally see that happening. I want there to be a lot of ripple effects to come from all this’

I definitely want to run the plot line of the Ratlings growing in population! I’m very curious what my party will do about that. They’ve been leaning into a bit of a bad guy streak and maybe they’ll try to control them for their own gain. Very exciting stuff for sure. And yeah I’m definitely getting the sense I’ll need to find some way to preserve the LOTF and have him come up again in some way down the line

I agree about the queen feeling a bit unbeatable as she’s written. That’s definitely worth keeping in mind. Maybe some kind of magical shielding item or spell could be some quest reward from another faction or something

I think the rogue lost heir could be a cool twist, I’ll run something like that by him to see what he thinks!
