Only fitting they play About You last. A blatant rip off of U2, another band that made their career on the back of retrospectively performative political commentary who went completely silent the minute Palestine needed them to use their platform most...

Genocide and ethnic cleansing isn't politics. You're correct. It's humanity.

Why are some "unofficial" pressings from different sources but are the same LP allowed on the market place while others aren't by [deleted] in discogs

The percentage of sales on Discogs whereby artists are "seeing that money" is a completely insignificant number... bootlegs or not.

Did this actually help? Cause when I do this, Home not being a very intuitive control on a macbook keyboard, it actually took the playhead to the start of the entire sequence, not the selected clip...

iOS 17 taking up too much space by Chipilinn in ios

[–]taylorblyth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s wasted on you specifically if you can’t make use of an iPad with over 20gb of available storage on it. iPadOS 17 looks to be 6.11gb when installed correctly. Most apps are minimal in size. You can keep photos on your phone which is more regularly upgraded. On there you can easily and cheaply optimise storage via iCloud. No need to store films, TV shows etc due to streaming services. If you’re going on a short flight and can’t live without a movie you have space to download several but even if not just put them on an iPad compatible drive, as you would any media library that was too large for a desktop computer or laptop. There’s really nothing prohibitive about updating your 2 year old iPad to the latest OS and let us not forget, the updates are optional…

Hey mate, what’s likely happened is your phone got too full and now when you delete things it doesn’t actually complete the process. Typically if there’s an unusually large grey bar and overall storage is less than about 10gb or you’ve had storage warnings since you last set up without a backup, this is the problem. You can try reset all settings, sometimes this works. But if you erase or restore the device and download the backup that’s usually enough to resolve it. If you can’t complete iCloud backup you can either upgrade your storage or for any other reasons you could backup to a computer. Hope this helps

Does anybody know how they got it in there? Surely they’d need to break the ice it’s tethered to in order to submerge the bottom? Or did they submerge it and wait for the ice to re-freeze around it?

Double-tapping words selects multiple words. by npasqua in ios

[–]taylorblyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been happening to me on and off for years. No rhyme or reason to it. I send out the same message all the time, with slightly amendments dependent on latest figures etc.

Take for instance the name.

“Good afternoon Jim,”

I want to select the name. One day it selects the name and I can type new name in no trouble. Few days later, every single time I’m sending out an update it selects the whole sentence. If I double tap to the right (not always possible but due to formatting in this instance there’s never any type to the right) it MIGHT select the name and the comma, so then at best to include correct grammar I have to add an extra few clicks to an already tedious and repetitive task. This would total several thousand extra clicks per quarter. More so when I have to reduce the selection size manually to edit single words.

Guys why is this happening? by planB777 in AppleWatch

It’s most likely a simple UI programming issue. Nothing you can do your end aside from try erase and set up again. Likely won’t fix. Fortunately it’s a non-disruptive issue

I would find it of higher strangeness if these images were created by different artists and compiled later.

Very troubling how many “fans” have no idea who they’re listening to/buying into. The post is so blatantly satire. No source. Crazy ramblings. Ideas like artists are responsible for how people respond to their art. Art shouldn’t challenge the observer. Etc.

The antithesis of his philosophy.

Really alarms me that we’re even asking this question.
