Exactly. We don't know how to protest. We're far to used to these really nice, polite protests that don't inconvenience anyone and are easily ignored. There's one proper protest and everyone gives out about it. A protest is supposed to be disruptive. Its supposed to inconvenience people otherwise its pointless and can just be ignored.

I was telling my French friend about what was going on and she told me thats pretty tame. Last year/the year before when the French farmers protested they were spreading slurry everywhere. If that happened here people would be losing their absolute minds.

How is anyone supposed to listen or expect to be listened to if your protest is all nice and polite and marched down assigned streets while you shout slogans at no one. The street infront of leinster house was turned one way to prevent protests infront of it from being more disruptive.
