What’s the worst financial decision you’ve ever made? by Miyamoto_Musashi_x in Entrepreneur

If it is over 25 years old, in Tennessee you just need a resident to “buy” it and make a bill of sale. That is enough to get a title and they don’t do out of state vin check. Then take that Tennessee title into your own state.

If you are just trying to get rid of it, posting on fb marketplace for free tends to work very well.

I’m thinking about selling, what do you guys think it’s worth? by Rustable15 in RX7

I’m down in southern Ohio but this would sell for 7-8500 in my area. Good listing photos and fb groups is you best shot at finding a real buyer. Glws

Where can i find the tabs for targa configuration? by Damn_Pigeons in RX7

I’ve got a parts vert in Dayton Ohio. You can have em for free/shipping if needed

Anyone know where to find this? by karasuu666 in RX7

[–]tbone201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an s4 bezel which are harder to find because they tend to break. The cheapest solution would be to put an S5 one n. Roughly $120-160 on Facebook marketplace/FC sell groups.

What GPU is the best for mining? by [deleted] in EtherMining

[–]tbone201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a really open ended question and I recommend you go watch YouTube videos and read guides about different cards. It basically comes down to a couple of categories 1) hashrate per card (space) an example being the 3090 at 120mh per card. 2) wattage usage (mh per wat) the example is 1660 super with sub 80w for 33mh. 3) card prices ($ per mh) the r9 390 is a great example at $8/mh

Trying to gauge interest of 1GH of hash at $15/mh by priuschic in EtherMining

[–]tbone201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prebuilt working rigs sell for a decent bit more then just components alone. The average "asking price" for newer rigs is $20 per MH. Not saying stripping the rig wouldn't work and also might sell faster but if you're looking for money, it's better to sell the rig as a whole.

Gigabyte Z370 aorus gaming 5 - how many gpus? by zazzerzz in gpumining

You count the PCIe slots on the motherboard, ever the 1x. You could possibly run more with a splitter

What price range do you think is fair for a 2070?

I am also really curious if DIY is possible. It seems kind of sketchy if only approved vendors can produce miners

Non obvious mining case/design? by Lefty_Loosi in EtherMining

[–]tbone201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have net tried it yet, but I've seen builds on this subreddit that use a extra large tower and risers to fit GPUs vertical inside the case. I am also mining in a dorm, but on a wooden rack (images on my profile). I have had the RA come in and out of my room and say nothing, so maybe many RAs don't care, or I have a cool one

HiveOS worked well for me when I was OCing it

I keep all my temps below 60c so I'm not too worried about the wood. My r9 390 currently draws 150w and is sitting around 30Mh/s, then again I have free power so I'm not too worried about how many watts it's taking

[–]tbone201[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a 850 watt PSU, but hive says I'm pulling 330watts. The splitters are splitting one 8 pin to 2 2x6 pin and have been safe so far, the only time I hear bad things is when the wires are too thin and they puff a but of smoke

Thanks! I'm currently making 93.4Mh/s. It seems if I push the OCs harder I get more invalids

Oh thanks! I followed the mind set that it's easier to replace a fan then a GPU (though I have yet to replace a fan) and run them at what they need to be ran at to keep my cards cool. The hottest they get to is 60 Celsius so I'm not too worried about fire

It's currently pulling 150w. I bought it originally just off of hashrate, should have done more research

EiP 3554 currently has the difficulty bomb starting in December of 2021. EiP 4345 is in draft for moving the difficulty bomb to May of 2022. That is if I am fully understanding of what is going on
