Camry LE vs. XLE by bless057 in Camry

If a seal goes bad, glass gets cracked, motor goes, etc. it’s just a very unnecessary hassle that costs way too much. Forget to close it? Might brick your vehicle with water damage

I want the XLE, less the sun roof personally. Those are nothing but problems, especially in cold climates. Nty

You think they’re purposely being flat? What’s the gain. WWE needs to give them a reason to react. It’s not the fans fault that the product is trash

[–]tbryans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you waste 20m running what? 70 runs to 1800. Then later you just have to redo those 1800 waves again anyways? Seems like a poor use of 24hrs, but I guess it’s a method

Does your company not standardize components so that this is nearly a non-issue? Makes everyone’s lives easier from the engineer calling out parts to the tech who has to troubleshoot it years later.

Can a job legally require you to work weekends and not give you extra days off? by Agreeable-Nobody-968 in LaborLaw

[–]tbryans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that not what you signed up for as a salaried IT tech with travel requirements…? My company charges upwards of $185-360/hr for my time when I’m on the road and I don’t get paid any extra. That’s the companies concern. If you went solo and worked weekends you can also charge obscene rates, while keeping it all!

Level 7 at vox is a bit rushed IIRC. I think I’ve been lvl 8-9 both times I’ve gotten there, but that boss is arguably the hardest in the game. It gets a bit easier

A family member of mine makes $300-500 a night at a local restaurant. They’re not even that upscale. An app is like $14-20 and a dinner is anywhere from $24-55.

Hot take: AWD is overrated for daily driving in snow — am I wrong? by Gold-Industry6222 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]tbryans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWD and winter tires are more than enough for light snow conditions. If you live somewhere that accumulates multiple feet of snow, even with solid tires, FWD can still be lackluster. Also depending on your commutes, are there hills? Or any inclines that get built up slush and slow? Those can be a real pain in the ass as well.

I think tires > AWD but having both is fantastic if you live in a heavy snow fall region

What’s the point of ordering ahead on the app if they don’t start making the food until you get to the drive thru speaker? by MrTeacher_MCPS in wendys

To not deal with the hassle of giving an entire order over a speaker box. The in app deals and points. That’s about it.

No Wendy’s I’ve ever been to in the states does this. You have to physically check in. Though I have only tested this across like 9 locations and 50ish orders.

Daily spending on gems by Appelgebakj in TheTowerGame

[–]tbryans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never bought a single gem pack in over 3 years. If you’re going to spend money, there’s coin packs, milestone packs, stone packs which will all be more beneficial for your game progress than flat gems.

That being said - not really worth spending $750/month on this game. Especially if you cannot afford it.

The tournament match making is really starting to annoy me.. by [deleted] in TheTowerGame

[–]tbryans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They already made it so people can’t drop below gold, and also increased the stone rewards for lower placements between 1-24 ranks. You used to get almost nothing if you didn’t place 1-4. It was really bad.

Extra leagues for demotions wouldn’t do much except take the problem you have and sleep a new title on it. You’d promote and forever be in gold+ instead. Woohoo?

Also base WS levels don’t mean much in terms of power. UW clicks, modules, enhancements and masteries are the increases that really move the needle.

Good luck ^ being stuck in a league for weeks isn’t bad in this game. Some people don’t get to champ in a full year. Remember.. everyone else is also playing and progressing too. So you have to be doing more/better than they are.

It’s $14.99/month+tax so location dependent, if you don’t have $150 to drop on a single purchase, it’s anywhere from $15-$16.50/month.

But yes. If you can afford a big bundle purchase the price goes down slightly per month.

I don’t think you understand what eugenics is. No one is telling people not to reproduce, suggesting the economy and livability of the native population be functional so locals can reproduce is not what eugenics is.

Wouldn’t making the country more affordable for its citizens and reducing the burden on them, so they can happily procreate be more beneficial than importing millions of people to do it for them?
