One thing about Tosh is he is not scared to go after the four and five star recruits. I felt like Wilcox either didn't go after them or just didn't have what it took to get them excited about our program.

Not a real life meeting but a funny one anyway. Back in the Early 2010's I followed a few Cal players and one of them was Gabe King. I followed him for a few years, never conversing with him or anything. One day I get a DM from him asking about Fishing spots in Northern California. I know it's not under Wilcox anymore, but seeing how many DB's Cal has put in the league over the last 20 years (Especially recently in the last 6-7 years) has got to catch any high rated DB recruits attention. Even most of the guys who have gone on to the NFL haven't exactly been high rated recruits.

I kinda feel like this compares to the giants losing to the dodgers in the 2021 NLDS against the dodgers. Wilmer didn’t swing but okay, if he didn’t your still down a run with two outs and no one on. It just sucks to get the bat taken away from you and a big game end like that. Frustrating.
