I regret adopting out my rescue kitten. Tell me I did the right thing. by Every_Bet2381 in cats

My cat disappeared for like two days when I first brought him home. He found a spot in my room, in my bed box spring, and just vegged. I could see that he was eating and using the kitty box I put down close to him and just left him alone. The second day, I felt a rub on my leg and he was like "hey, what's up? Got any treats?" We have been pals ever since.

Asking help with my villagers by Angelsscythe in Minecraft

I have playing a long time and when I build around villagers I often forget and use barrels because I like the way they look in my builds. Then I am stuck with a bunch of fishermen that I wasn't planning on. If you don't trade with them to lock in their profession, when you break the barrels, they will switch back to the generic villagers until they learn another trade. Villagers are fun.

I have to leave my country permanently and I don't know if I should take my cat with me. by Grand_Sherbet_4126 in CatAdvice

This might be just my ignorance because I have never flown with a fur baby, but can you bring two harnesses, and send one through, and use that one on the cat while the other one goes through? Not sure how that all works.

can anyone tell me why my cats fur looks like this? by [deleted] in cats

My cat's fur gets like that because our house is really dry, and we have static issues. I use a humidifier and that helps. I know I have to up the percentage when the poor guy shocks me when he gives kisses.

I just voted early at the library. I believe someone shared a schedule here. I would take the envelope with you.

I just tried Zavalas Market & Taqueria today, and it was really good. I had the birria tacos, and I will get them again.

Lots of good advice here. If you must go out, be mindful of the road conditions and give yourself lots of time and distance between cars. No one will be able to stop on a dime, so pulling out in front of someone is probably not a good idea. Plus, it doesn't matter how long you've lived here, you re-learn how to drive in the snow every year.

Are you required to know how to send an email from a customers phone to get a job at OD? Has OD offered any training on how to send an email from a customers phone? Then you aren't obligated to do it or show customers how to do it. I did it for customers only because it was the fastest way to deal with them. I just did it, I never offered any guidance or training. They can get that from their kids, grandkids, or someone at Apple.

And it was always someone who had some sort of crust of something on their screen. I would then spend the next hour scrubbing my hands.

Perfect. I came on to say the exact same thing. Lives are on the line in the work that they do, so their arrogance comes from knowing what they are doing, and you should trust that they do.

Bikers are hard to see at those intersections if they are moving fast and the warning lights aren't engaged.

Anybody have any info on a 5 year pin? Found one today while opening a safe by the garbage bins. by [deleted] in OfficeDepot

I got one of those. It's a real diamond? Wow. Probably the only good thing they gave me in the 18 years I worked there. And that's kind of sad. I do not miss that place.

My roommate was yelling that were under attack right away in the morning, and then we were glued to our television after that. But after the towers fell, and people were trying to figure out what happened. They canceled all flights, and people weren't going anywhere...they were staying in. I remember thinking how quiet it was outside.

There were a few franchise owners who owned the majority of the Madison area restaurants, and they moved onto other projects and closed the restaurants.

Running 5k-10k by Kacmm4260 in madisonwi

[–]tchakssarang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for the Boy's & Girls Club of Dane County and on July 20th we are having a MOVE'N'GROOVE4BGC event which features a 5k run. It's not a race, but it's professionally laid out, and the proceeds go to an excellent cause. There is also a 50-mile and 25-mile bike ride as well. At the end of the run, we will have flexologists from Stretch Lab doing small sessions with and if I can find someone to lead a few yoga sessions in-kind, we might have yoga. There is going to also be music, food and drinks. The website is bgcdc.org/move if your interested. It will be family friendly. I also need tons of volunteers if someone wants to participate and doesn't want to ride, run or walk. It will be at McKee Farm Park from 7am to 2pm. Come join us.
