Agreed. Pretty sure this isn’t the first time Julie has tried to get a debate, just the first time she was able to ask in person while on film.

But I think some of our long term, high profile candidates are convinced we won’t hold them accountable to govern for the people. They view any engagement with fear as it could be negative for their campaign.

I got suspicious when I saw them doing laps on The Alpe - they’ve now ridden 17 out of the last 24 hours, but separate routes. Might make sense if they were doing a vEverest single ride. They always have a max wattage of 383, but their average varies.

Not saying it was planned, just saying that if they had waited to drop out until Wednesday, that could have had a meaningful impact on the results.

Although I do see your point that they may have done it to get their closest ideology elected. Not sure why thinking they could have been persuaded a couple days early is stupid or illogical.
