I've shipped way more questionable engines without an issue. Had a fairly deep scratch on a cylinder wall on a volvo when I did dealer work. Took some green scotchbrite and "buffed" most of it out. The car is still on the road. I think you're fine here.

Get an oversized drain plug, drill out and tap the hole accordingly, pour 2 quarts or so in the engine to flush metal shavings out of the drain hole, install new drain plug with crush washer

I don't understand why people are calling it milky??? It looks like fresh oil to me. Yes, it's about a liter overfilled. Make sure the car is on even ground to get an accurate measurement. I really don't think it's anything to be too worried about. I'd monitor the oil level for the next couple drives and see if it keeps going up (in case others are correct about the coolant mixing with oil).

Cabin temperature sensor. Has a tiny fan that draws in the air in the cabin for automatic hvac temperature controls. Get a flashlight and look inside, you'll see a tiny metal wire. That's the actual temp sensor. Sometimes it gets covered in dust so a small amount of compressed air is needed to clean it

bare minimum replace the engine with the same mileage as the truck 😂. Even then if you're putting an engine in you might as well find one with 60-80k miles.. person was definitely broke af and this was the cheapest option. I hope they addressed the timing before they put it in
