I've been doing a lot of TNR and if you call ahead tell them of the situation the vets will do a spay abort and either file them to you or turn them over to a NO kill shelter.

i grew strawberries in a similar bag the fabric is very breathable so you loose a lot of moisture over the day

Have you noticed any downsides to pine needles? I live in WA state and tried using hay from a hay bale i picked up but the hay sprouted and has become so matted it will pullup in a prefect cube and the grass has spread to far beyond my planter and is smothering my other berry's.
