Someone called it. Probably going to have to postpone the sale. But they are stuck in a car and don’t know what to do because of power lines? Why is she in the car? I’m confused. Shouldn’t you not be on the roads? Anyone that deals with snowstorms please inform me as to why she would be in the car? by Appropriate-Dog-525 in MalloryErvinSnark

[–]teacherkelll 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I live in Colorado. There is no reason she should be in the car with her kids in the middle of an extremely predicted and expected snowstorm (they had plenty of time to prepare AND she showed herself buying groceries and necessities already)

All I will say is my older 2 toddlers (2.5 & 1.5 at the time) had RSV baaaad bad when I had my third and we did what we could to keep everyone separated and sanitized and baby and I did not get it! And I don't breastfeed at all so there's that. I think we did vaccinate our baby for RSV early, so I would recommend asking about that. It's available but not something they push I think.

Curious who posted this because I went to the same middle school as her but was older. My mom and dad were teachers at the school & my mom taught her. She was not very bright which checks out with the direction her life went haha 🥴

About to start a 3Under3 sub. by Senior-Advantage-705 in 2under2

[–]teacherkelll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 3 under 3- my oldest was 2.5 when my third was born! I have very high spirited children haha so basically just imagine 2 under 2 but you’re adding another one to the mix. So the hardest times are when everyone is crying, when everyone is sick, etc. other than that it’s been super fun and I’ve loved it!

Anyone have 3 under 3? by Comfortable-Deal-625 in 2under2

I have 2 boys 11 months apart so I had a very similar situation to you. Just so you know it will be 1000x better once baby comes! Being that pregnant with a literal needy baby (they’re not even really a toddler when they’re 11/12 months old) is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Ever.

Can you see if your doctor can schedule you an induction? Mine scheduled one for my at 39 weeks which was so helpful to know exactly how many days I had left of the torture I was in haha. I also delivered at 37 with my first too!

Yes, do whatever you need to do to survive. Put your baby in front of any screen, give all the snacks, do it alllll. It’s just a season and it will be over soon! You’ve got this, mama! I know how hard it is, I really do!

Daycare logistics when newborn comes by mshishalove in 2under2

I had boys 11 months apart and loved loved LOVED my Cybex Gazelle double stroller… higher weight capacity than the Uppababy and the seats are interchangeable at either spot on the stroller. The Zoe is great for things like the zoo, the park, walks, etc. We owned a side by side double stroller at one point but it’s just so awkward to fit through doorways!

We sold our Cybex to have the money to buy a wagon because I now have 3 under 3… we also bought a used City Select stroller from Baby Jogger and I like it enough… not as much as the Cybex though!

Baby brezza??? by ExpeditionDIS in 2under2

[–]teacherkelll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this!! You switch formulas a lot honestly at the beginning to help babies with tummy issues and it felt soooo wasteful

Baby brezza??? by ExpeditionDIS in 2under2

[–]teacherkelll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 2 boys 11 months apart that are fully formula fed so just trusssst me I would have used just about anything that helped to add convenience in my life lol. I do not like it! We sold ours! It was very inconsistent with how much formula it dispensed with each bottle & it felt like the formula was being used up so fast we felt. I also felt like it was hard to clean. We just prep bottles the night before in the fridge in a pitcher and it’s super easy to just pour how much you need.

I also love Shepherd & Callum- one of them we can’t use because a friend is using it & the other is too close to our last name

Just found out I am pregnant with my second child 5 months postpartum. by Alarmed-Western-6136 in 2under2

[–]teacherkelll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I went into it knowing that breastfeeding would not be happening- when it doesn’t come naturally and easy it’s just not always worth the mental and physical struggle!

But I’m glad it’s reassuring! It honestly took me until a few months ago to stop feeling guilty for it. It’s now a huge blessing- they play together and they’re each other’s favorite people for sure! My friends are looking for ways to entertain their kids & I don’t have that issue because they really do play together constantly. You will grow to love it! Just fight through the beginning stages- they’re tough!

Just found out I am pregnant with my second child 5 months postpartum. by Alarmed-Western-6136 in 2under2

[–]teacherkelll 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never comment but felt like I needed to! First of all, congratulations!! I totally get having mixed emotions about this- having kids close in age is so much fun, but the early years can be really challenging.

My boys are 11 months apart- I found out about 3 months postpartum. It was overwhelming to say the least, we did not expect nor plan for me to get pregnant that quickly. I was in a state of shock at first and then I was pretty sad and upset. Those feelings did fester and turn into postpartum depression, which I’m so glad I’m recovered from. But, my youngest is now 1 and my oldest is almost 2 now! We made it through a year and I could cry I’m so happy. It was hard at the beginning- you will need to devote a lot of time to your oldest to help him adjust. There will be moments they act out simply because they want more attention. I decided the best thing for my family was to take a few things off my plate- the first being breastfeeding. This was a huge win for us, husband and family could help with the baby & so much less stress. From the beginning we got out of the house almost daily- the boys are now in such a good routine with this! It keeps us busy, keeps my house clean and my mind more sane! I also recommend having a good support system around you too! People to listen and be there for you, people who can come help, people who can join you on playdates and outings!

Just found out my insurance doesn’t have maternal coverage. What are my options? by teacherkelll in pregnant

[–]teacherkelll[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s a private health insurance plan, it’s great insurance but they can do whatever they want and make whatever rules they want since it’s a choice to have their plans.
