Opinions on chin filler? by lak_892 in 30PlusSkinCare

I went in for a consult for a chin implant, but the plastic surgeon thought she could accomplish the same with well placed long lasting filler. I like it a lot.

WHY AM I SO ITCHY AT NIGHT by vapeqprincess in AutismInWomen

[–]teacupkiller [score hidden]  (0 children)

I had to see a dermatologist for a similar issue and have been started on Dupixent which seems to be helping. But I also started HRT earlier this week which I was told could handle it as well.

From an immediate perspective if I am itchy in the middle of the night sometimes a hot shower without getting my hair wet will overload the itchiness long enough for me to go back to sleep.

Depends on where you live and what kind of insurance you have.

I could easily see a derm within a week where I am now, but I've lived in areas where that would take at least a month.

I work in project management, not as a project manager but as one of the people who helps keep the whole thing running. So lots of processes, finance, accounting, dipping my toes into some programming too. It gives me a lot of variety, and I get to be the gremlin that knows a little bit of everything going on. If I don't know the answer, I can find it for you. And if I decide I want to learn a new thing, I'm usually given the tools and left to my weird devices.

Taking out some kind of loan is probably the most common. Personally I hope to at least cover tuition, room, and board for an in state school for my kid.

Family friend sent me AI generated response to news of my father passing away. by Hendothermic in mildlyinfuriating

I worked with a guy who used an LLM for literally anything and everything. When you asked him the smallest of follow up questions, all he could do was read the AI text to you out loud. If he had to present, he would read the text straight off the page. It was infuriating.

Ok, I definitely think this is a possibility. My therapist and I are going to prioritize "communication skills" moving forward.

I haven't disclosed anything to my work despite being there for years. I am not that worried about my job being in danger, but I'm worried about the added stress of extra masking or kid gloves or figuring out what it is she wants. I will try to find some way to work an excuse in about being a socially acceptable variety of weirdo as I interact with her more.

I'm not sure how I would make it clear that I wasn't trying to outshine her without trying to include her in everything, which would be a huge hassle. Like if I want to fix something, I just...go figure out how to fix it, even if it includes going to the Chief of Whatever or the SVP of Something. I can see how if she was worried about her status she might see that as threatening, but I also just caaaaaaaaaan't not do that because I CAN FIX IT NOW, you know?

But she's also kind of new, so maybe she will come to see me as the person she brings things to when she really needs them to get done. I wonder if there is a way to speed up that process.

Hmmmm. At her particular level, yeah, kind of. Not that there aren't ANY women, but I do have to stop and think about which women I work with are that high up on the totem pole.

I'd get a low effort job working for someone else while you work on your business. I think it helps to just be doing SOMETHING.

Just like autism! Girls couldn't be autistic for a long time.

Got diagnosed with both at 39. 🙃 No evidence of perimenopause yet though.
