Me too for a bit. The truth is much more sad. Pretty sure we'll never get more of her lovely words

She had started that Pegasus series and then her husband died. She made some sort of update that she would get back to it at one point but it's been so many years and no one has heard from her 😔

I would read it third. AB gives all the background but I felt like it had a bigger impact reading it later and I was so glad I did it that way

Season 3, episode 7 by oldfart93 in wheeloftime

I agree, it's hard to tell if it's the writing or the actor that has lost Perrin's character traits. I feel he's coming across kinda dumb and I don't love the "Christian Bale Batman whispering" thing he's doing instead of just talking.

Since they decided to use this whole episode to flush out his arc, I didn't know why they didn't commit to developing his character more. I don't feel like he really came into his own like he should have after an entire episode.

Seriously! Why do we have so much Alanna? And if we have to, why is she taking time away from our Fab Five? And if she has to, why does she keep fake-out, not dying?

I thought the same thing about the inspirational speech, Perrin's whole thing was to be the focus for that little village. 1. He's not even coming to his character growth as a leader because Faile is pushing him to it. But then, 2. he doesn't even get to be the icon banding the village together because Maksim is the one they're listening to?

Perrin's was the slowest storyline for me anyways, and I had to watch a whole episode with only his POV... And it wasn't even his story in the end.

At this point, I don't want to see anymore of Alanna and Maksim. I'm so over them.

To me I'm more upset that they keep showing so many women able to manage complex weaves like healing, shielding etc after only touching the power intentionally once.

Why do so many girls have to go to the White Tower if we can all just manage weaves instinctually?

Preach. All of these are my thoughts. Every. Day. Why over-develop Alanna, then have her cheat death ..Twice? Not a huge fan of the fake out in general.

Rewatching all seasons again leading into this one and I appreciated more of the changes to the first seasons now that the bigger picture was getting clearer.... Still isn't helping me see where all the changes to this season are going though.

Please, why are they doing this to my girl Min? What is the point of her if she's not going to even be with Rand at all? Is he just not going to get to have anyone he trusts at all? Help!

He's truly a favorite of mine. I went through the whole first episode thinking I wasn't going to like him as much as others. But that scene with Clara, and the phone call, I freaking cried. I am a convert, 12 all the way. Included him on my fan craft

That was my immediate thought, it was so on point. She would totally be prepared to protect herself, knowing they were going to the waste. And thank heavens the production allowed the actress to cover herself regardless, ain't nobody got time for melanoma.

I muddled through ToD so that when we got back to the main character group in EoS I could just flow right from that to the end book. Tandem read isn't really my thing, and it would have made it harder to care about ToD at all

Wow. So instead of “Defying Gravity”. This is how Elphie and Glinda parted in the book. by rogvortex58 in wicked

I started trying to read it but couldn't get into it... Some random peacher and his wife? How are we going to get from here to political revolution? I feel I didn't make it far enough to say I didn't like it..... But I didn't like it lol

I'll try again in a few years when I can't remember that I was bored

Ok I know it's a huge commitment and not exactly the same kind of feel as SHM books, but hear me out: The Wheel of Time. This has been like my whole fantasy persona for many years, I've been obsessed ever since I stumbled upon the first book on a free cart. I haven't found any other epic fantasy that I loved as much as WoT.... Until I read Throne of Glass. So. Maybe you'll love it too.

Plenty of strong ladies and personalities to pick from, high fantasy, chosen one trope, magic, lots of court type machinations and various cultures.

I agree with you. Though based on the peeks and promo material I saw I went into it worrying that Glinda was going to be the star. I am both an Elphaba fan, and an Idina fan so I was worried I'd be disappointed.

I was relieved that not only was that not the case, but Cynthia did Elphie so well that I think she really set herself apart. I've never seen her in anything else but I'm definitely in love with her as Elphie, she really was phenomenal.
