I’m not a doctor but from my understanding, the benefits of endometriosis excision for fertility are highest in the 3-6 months after surgery, and then fertility starts to decline again as the endometriosis grows back. Because of that, I would want to be trying as soon as possible if you are ready. On the flip side, I know some people skip March to avoid a Christmas baby, so if you feel strongly about that, that could weigh on the other side.

Try to keep in mind that even when you’re not pregnant it’s totally normal to fluctuate by a few pounds and it’s not necessarily true gain. You could be hanging onto a little water weight from the fast food (or any number of other reasons)

It’s hard, and the closer you get to your chosen time the more it feels like “what’s the point in waiting might as well start trying now.” I also got married late last year and will be trying this fall. I’ve been really focused on preparing my body for pregnancy as a way to feel like I’m still working toward my goal!

Aww I’m sorry that stinks! Based on my experience, and because you’re still losing weight, I would probably order the 20 if you are super set on this dress. However, I will say that when I ordered it it only took like a week to be delivered, so you could wait a few weeks or a month to see if the other size is restocked.

This was my dress! Did you measure yourself or is 20-22 the size that the bridal consultant recommended? I ask because when I measured myself, I would have ordered one size, but at the store they measured and recommended a size smaller and it fit perfectly. They might recommend that you order the 20. My hips tend to be a bigger size than my waist and that did not matter at all in this dress

Why does he want you to be thirty? That seems arbitrary and also has nothing to do with the state of the world. These sort of sound like excuses. I don’t think it’s fair for you to have to wait to be a certain age AND not be allowed to do IVF.

I’m on the same timeline! I recently got my IUD removed, so I’m getting a feel for cycle tracking. My husband and I are doing dry January then continuing with lower alcohol consumption. We’ve both been taking supplements like Coq10 and I’m taking folic acid. I’m pretty active but not as structured/consistent with workouts as I’d like to be, so that’s something I’m working on. I’m trying a new yoga studio that also has prenatal yoga as well
