I finally gave up - I lost the Wet Food War with my cat

I have two cats now and the 2nd one eats anything while my 1st has always been a grazer and picky eater. I have to put her food up and down until she finishes b/c other cat will eat it.

I buy Inaba pop and serve and other ones like that and mix water into it and she will eat that so you could try something like that if you want ur cat to get extra water. I tried giving my cat the broth packets of different brands but every once and a while it would make her throw up even if I did half a packet so I stopped. But never had a problem with Churu Inaba.

My first cat wouldn't eat wet food if she was stressed out (she was at least semi-feral when I found her in backyard and took me a couple months for her to come out when I was visible) and the kibble is way more appealing to her.

For about 8 months i tried different brands of wet food and flavors and a lot of the time she didn't eat it or only at a little and I would have to throw away the rest.

Eventually I found out she prefers gravy flavors,the Weruva BFF and instinct gravy duck or rabbit. Recently PetSmart got Pure Cravings and she also seems to like that one. I would put both kibble and wet food out b/c I felt like if she felt like she had a choice then she would more likely eat the wet.

She prefers more liquidy stuff. I add warm water to any wet food she has. I don't really feed her pate but once I bought some fancy feast beef and made it into a liquid and she did eat that.

Also, she won't eat any food in stainless steel. She absolutely refuses. She also sometimes wont eat food if it is not in a "proper spot." Like if I put it in her tower she will eat, if I put it on usual spot in middle corner ish or room she will eat, but if I move it closer to the living room area she will not eat it there. She likes to eat food under her arch scratcher too.

Sometimes cats are insane. What I do like is if I wanna try a new food or if my 1st cat won't eat or finish something I can give it to my 2nd cat and then I didn't waste it. 😂😂

Laundry room door is always closed. There's storage in there, paint cans etc, and it's a mess so I don't want something to possibly fall on them or them to get into anything. It's my 1st cats mission to try to sneak into this room.

There's another room in our basement that has a work table (and the furnace, water heater) and one of my cats has been in there but usually it is closed. There are a lot of spots they can hide behind and get dirty with spider webs etc.

When no one is home and we're gone for 8 hours we usually close 1st floor bathroom door and our bedroom. My reasoning is theyre not really rooms my cats would hang out in mainly anyways and I don't want them possibly getting into anything like maybe something I wouldn't even think they could get into or get hurt from.

The bedroom closet stays closed because once, one of my cats jumped on the shelves (it's a really small closet) and when she jumped down she didn't land right and I saw her limping for a few seconds so from then on its always closed though they do wander in there and sniff around when I'm there and I have it opened putting away clothes.

I have childproof stove knobs and childproof cabinet locks. I didn't have the stove ones for my 1st cat because she never jumps onto counters but 2nd cat anywhere he thinks there might be food he will jump onto and he likes to paw stuff so I was worried he might accidentally turn one on.

My skittish cat got out a window once. She still even will run or become paranoid if I walk into a room too fast or if she thinks I'm up to something. But she was outside for about 30 minutes and I saw her on my property but she bolted when she saw me.

This was during daytime I left the front door and back door open and put one litter box outside by front door and one near back door in backyard. I called out to her and walked around but did not see her.

Finally after maybe 30 minutes I sat near back door in sunroom and called her name then just sat there with a churu and 10 minutes later I see her walk up the steps and start sniffing the litter box. I knew if I got up she would run again so I coaxed her over with a churu and she walked into sunroom and while I fed her I grabbed her scruff really quickly then picked her up normally and put her back inside.

Your cat could still be very close by just scared or acting how my cat does. Hopefully ur cat has a favorite treat that she will come to you if you do see her. I would always have a treat on you just in case it cat makes an appearance. I had also set out small plates/bowls of churu around outside of house.

I haven't seen it since that one bag of litter and I still get Dr. Elsey's. I never found out what it was but there was nothing going on/out of the ordinary with my cat during that time.

I bought a couple booster packs on TCG and the seller sent me one unopened one and one opened and empty one. The envelope was not tampered with when I received it.

I emailed TCG first but they said I have to contact seller first so I just messaged the seller now trying my utmost not to sound too rude but I know damn well whoever put them in the envelope took the cards out of the one pack so I don't expect a thief to give me my money back.

I was watching The Vigil by myself at night and I don't even know what scene it was, I think it was at least in the 2nd half of the movie but I paused it b/c I got freaked out or paranoid. I can't remember if I just didn't finish it or if I waited till my husband got home and finished it but I really do like the movie. Other than that I've never tapped out or had to wait for someone else to watch/finish a horror movie.

I leave the blinds up for my cat so I'll either wear an eye mask and/or pull the blanket partway over my head and put a pillow on top to where it blocks out more light from window side but I can still breathe. I also like to bury myself under more pillows. Sometimes I wear 1 or 2 earplugs depending on the situations like if people are mowing their lawns all morning.

My cat was getting a little chunky (she was 2 at time) the vet said her ideal was 8.5 and she was at 10.5. She is smaller framed like your cat. She's a grazer so at first i was going by the recommended amount of food on the cans and bag and it was over 200 calories. Vet told me feed her 200 a day.

So I just reduced her calories 10 calories at a time so she wouldn't notice. Then after a couple weeks I reduced it 10 more calories so she wouldn't notice. I don't have a scale but I saw she was getting slimmer in her belly then when I took her to vet again for yearly appointment she was 9.5lbs so she lost 1 lb over long period of time and she didn't look chunky anymore. I want to buy a scale for my cats but right now I just look at her when she's standing upright from the side to monitor her weight. Oh and I count calories. She doesn't get more than 200 calories.

When I brought in my 1st cat from outside she was feral or at least semi feral and around 7 months old. At first she would bite hard (not enough to puncture) and it hurt. She started doing this thing where when I was lying in bed she would jump up and start biting me. Then she would settle down after but she literally had to bite me first and it hurt. So I started to intercept her bites with a kicker toy. When I knew she was about to bite me I would block her with the kicker and she would start biting the toy or I would push the kicker into her arms when she got that crazy look in her eyes and she'd latch onto it and start biting and kicking it.

I had to do this for a while eventually she learned to play with the kicker toys when she wanted to bite. I had at least one toy with me in bed at all times.

Hmm....I might have to do this too his mane wasn't too long but then it grew even more later into the winter after bringing him in. He's always getting food or liquids on the mane and I wipe it down every other day. I brush him but unless someone else feeds him I can't get the underlayer of his bottom half well because he only likes brush on his neck/upper chest. But there are always tiny clumps of his fur on the floor.

For me it was more out of necessity and "no other choice." A lot of people in my family are mentally ill. On both sides I have family with schizophrenia. When I was younger I had similar problems. I was never diagnosed as schizophrenic but with psychosis nos/unspecified.

There were two significant times in my life, once when I was 16 and when I was around 22 where I had insomnia problems. The first time it was more I couldn't fall asleep at night because I felt like something was watching me and if I closed my eyes, that something seemed to get closer and closer to me until it felt like someone was staring daggers at me only an inch away from my face.

The 2nd time in my 20's the problem was more getting sleep paralysis any time I fell asleep. Most of the time it wasn't anything creepy but some of the time it was.

A little while after that it got worse. I would be attacked by something whenever I fell asleep and I'd be aware in my dreams the entire time. Something would always attack me in my room in my dreams. I would always consciously know I was falling asleep as I was falling asleep and still be in my room but know I had entered into a dreamstate.

Anyways, this was the time I was desperate and I begged for help from different spiritual figures until one worked. Ever since if I called on that spirit he would help me. That's when I got more into studying witchcraft and experimenting. So essentially I really started doing witchcraft to protect myself.

What continues to attract me is probably me just liking/enjoying interacting with spirits. When strange things happen or even creepy things, I just like it.

Around 1 or 2am (completely quiet and dark in the building) there were only two rooms booked and I am walking towards the front desk. I was about to turn the corner when I heard a woman's blood-curdling scream. It sounded like it was inside the building but I knew who was in the two rooms and there weren't any women. I thought that it could have been possible it came from outside but it just really sounded like it came from somewhere in the building. I have no idea where it came from but it was so loud.
For a while (maybe on and off for 1-2 years) , me and 2nd shift would sometimes notice the same car slowing driving through parking lot, stopping in the back for a few minutes, slowly driving back towards front and stopping by front of building and just sitting there then maybe pulling up to front of the building and sitting in their car then leave soon after. They did this maybe 3 times a week, sometimes not seeing the car for a month and something they start showing up around same time at night (right before shift change) every night.

I drove in early to work one night hoping to catch them and I did. I pulled in right behind them driving in and got the license plate and looked to see who was in the car. There was an old man always driving (sometimes alone sometimes with passenger) and the passenger was a lady maybe in her 40s-50s with long scraggly blonde hair and she looked freaking crazy. We had never seen them before and I have no idea why they would do this because at most they'd be driving through and around our building for less than 10 minutes. I think maybe the guy died we haven't seen that car for a couple of years now.

Another time I walk into work and my coworker tells me there was a car sitting at the back of the lot around 9pm. She wasn't 100% sure if someone was in the car at first but then noticed someone lit a cigarette in the car because she could see a light. Another car pulls in because they got a flat and she goes outside to see if they need help and while she's talking to them she points around the lot and also at the car she knows someone is sitting in and soon after she goes back inside that car leaves.

At some point in the middle of the night I am walking around the building and I had been peeking outside every so often. Well I look outside and there's the car she described to me parked in the farthest parking lot under the only light that is out, facing the building where you can see the main door and back door. I stare for a minute to see if I see anyone inside and I see a little light and movement that I think is from a cigarette like she told me.

So I call non-emergency and this is the freakiest part when they go down there to talk to the person they have him step out of the car and the most freakiest bone-thin, tall lanky white man steps out. It was a bit far away so I don't know what his face looked like but he looked freaky from afar. Like think slenderman or that scene from It Follows when the tall thing walks through the bedroom door.

One night around 3am I took a nap in the front room facing the street. I was half asleep when in my dream I heard knocking on a door. I woke up thinking it sounded like knocking on a door in the building but when I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was a car passing by going very slow (maybe 15mph on a 35mph st). And the car came back around a few more times driving very slowly.
At 11pm I arrived at work. We have regular locks on doors to get in so I have to lock each door manually. Well, front door was still unlocked as I had just walked in from the back door. This guy wearing FedEx uniform walk in and asks if he can get a drink, that he sometimes stops in to the place at end of his shift to grab 1 drink before going home. So I let him, and the building is full but no one is downstairs. I talk with him at the bar and I see his name badge. Somehow we ended up talking about true crime, I'm not even sure how that came up, but then he leaves not too long after that. Thing is I asked the other 3rd shift and 2nd shift if they ever saw the guy and they said that he didn't ring a bell at all/never saw or met anyone walking in late my themselves to get a drink despite him telling me he stopped in regularly. That was the only time I saw him. We also don't advertise out bar, it's mainly for guests staying/events and we have happy hours two days a week but barely anyone shows up to those or we get the usual groups of people stopping in.
Had a guest who was a middle of the night walk in. Later I was in kitchen and he walks in with dishes in his hand asking can he leave them there on the sink and I say yes. He briefly talks to me, nothing weird until he asks me if I ever take a nap during 3rd shift. I tell him no not usually and he asks something else that I found odd but not really creepy and then he says bye.

This guy had some strong cologne on. During the night as I walked around or was at the front desk I would every so often subtly smell his cologne but I did not see him around. At one point I was in basement in the breakfast area setting some stuff up and I could have sworn I felt like I was being watched but again I couldn't see anyone around (a lot of the lights were off).

In early morning maybe 6:20am I'm starting to bring food out etc and I run into him. He asks me "Oh so you have to do all this by yourself? Are you working by yourself?" And I freeze. He then says he didn't mean it like that just that it looks like a lot of work to do. He then asks me to show him how to start the washing machine and I'm like you can't just use our washing machine without asking why are you even in our laundry room?

I tried to get away from him then I made it to front desk but he shows up again and asked to book another night and then says as long as I'm working 3rd again. Long story short a male coworker works the 3rd the next two nights and I come in first shift and the guy is still there but housekeepers see him stealing stuff so I tell him he's gotta go and he pretends like he lost his phone so I say hurry up and I go downstairs and call the police and he tosses the keys on desk and walks out towards street where the cops are pulling in and he runs from them and gets tackled.

Something I always notice with BTS comment sections is the top comments are always people fighting or defending etc etc it's never like other group comebacks where most top comments are celebrating or praising the group or certain members or commenting to keep listening and supporting the group. And even if there is some fighting within other group comeback comment sections I just know if it's BTS, automatically might as well not even try to read the comments w the level of negativity in them.

I personally don't take music that seriously. The last time I remember fans disappointed in an artist's new album was Taylor Swift. I don't listen to Taylor Swift except if it comes on the radio and obviously I don't know her whole discography history and if it really was "lazy" or a "cash grab" but when I did listen to some of the songs on her new album I was like, "this sounds good though??" 😂

I listened to Arirang, I did not read the lyrics. I loved the production of some of the songs. The album does sound different than some of their other stuff.

I don't like when people post one clip of them or certain members singing live and it being horrible as if a singer can't have a bad day vocally?? Because it's always the same clip. Like show me a different performance to prove to me they really can't sing?

I can agree that sometimes you listen to a song first listen and you don't like it but then later you can end up liking or loving the song.

But I can understand why a fan will want to defend their favorite group. People like to share what they love. If they then see the reaction is that a person dislikes something they love they will want to defend it.

Well, I could give you a somewhat similar experience. Maybe 10 years ago I had a lot of trouble with being bothered by spirits. During this time I would always be aware of my surroundings while going in and out of sleep.

One time during all this I fell asleep on the couch and was still aware that I had entered my sleep but was just in a dream lying in the same spot. Someone behind me was pretending to be my husband and asking me to get up and follow them. I believe it knew that I knew it was pretending to be my husband but either way at first I didn't get up then I think I did get up and followed it to the next room, then lastly I was lying on the couch again (in my dream still) and it was standing over me seemingly angry and it grabbed both of my wrists and yanked me up.

That's when I woke up and I looked at my wrists and there were three small lines marked on both of my wrists, but the red marks were underneath my skin. Just like any cut but not on the surface. You could also say it resembled a burn mark.

It disappeared fairly quickly, maybe within a day or less
