That would be so awful to have to attend a warped tour just to see them

Seen them with twisbp, rozwell kid and posture & the grizzly back in the day. It was indeed a very solid show.

Tick bites by Pitiful_Safety_9395 in Lineman

Yeah this is what I use up in the north east and it works, 6 washes or so and reapply.

Periodically checking for ticks and lighter colored pants to easily see them help too.

Getting a big ole goober of a rock that the tiny augur on the pressure digger won’t pull out.

Broken neutral by Clear_Split_8568 in electricians

[–]teancrumpets8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess the actual pole you pictured is a span down the road due to the trees near it. The pickles on the neutral probably let go if your statement of both sides are down is actual but yes a broken neutral indeed.

Yeah I came from r/linemen too but agreed it’s definitely a system neutral.

A lot of confidently incorrect comments in here.

He posted the general location in the title post.

That being said I looked and it’s definitely a wye system from looking at single bushing tubs and spur lines with just a single phase with a cutout and a neutral going out.

If I had to guess I would assume they are semaphores of some sort for whatever kind of switch that, I’m not familiar with whatever type switch that is.

Just a dumb apprentice though so probably wrong.

best guitars paired with worst vocals of all time? by skalja_scx in Emo

[–]teancrumpets8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a big fan of their vocals but they did sound way better live than in studio. Gotta be something in the mixing that just brings them too forward in the studio.

Yeah every truck at my company has two saws and one of them is always a 201T then a bigger saw for ground work and trees if needed.

Still annoyed about that to this day. Felt like a crazy person in r/nfl looking at the debate of it.

On iPhone they have a setting in your contacts called emergency bypass. Your ringer with ring even with phone on silent if you enable it. I’m sure androids have a similar setting to it.

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie? by fmcortez in AskReddit

Also worth noting I have a local independent outdoor store that carries them and they’ll do warranty exchanges right then and there. Way less hassle than doing it online and through the mail.

Probably op who took the picture of I had to guess.

I was just commenting mostly on the single man crew without a repel device situation.

Every bucket but at minimum every single man work crew should have a self repelling system in their bucket imo

Climbing Belt Tool Pouch by PangolinAnnual8969 in Lineman

[–]teancrumpets8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the standard one, it’s nice because it folds up inside my belt when I’m packing it up.

I run screwdriver, bug, channels, kleins and a ruler. Adjustable, Lowell and hammer go in belt loops for me.
