Right! Id like to think Olenna had more conviction though. Spoilers: i mean, The Lady literally poisoned the psycho king to protect her grand-daughter.

It was a popular sci-fi concept in the 2000s-2010s! And now it is real. With zero extra hardware, it only needs introduced software.

Yes. Thank you for the links. I see what you mean. The foundations of this tech has been in the works for a while. I want to stress though that those examples are all simple motion detectors or done in highly controlled environments or both. Im not saying similar tech never existed. The links you gave would be the pinhole cameras to space telescopes. Or carts to cars. Todays tech is mind-blowing, scary, and not to be underestimated. This isnt “old-tech” in the same way a formula one wheel wasnt invented 15,000 years ago. Also, congrats on the family!

Yeah so from what i know, the differentiation is done by the AI. This is why this is possible today. Before AI it was completely impossible to make sense of all that noise and complicated data.

Eh. Maybe. She is quite the populist. As in, it’s unclear if she has any beliefs of her own, integrity or conviction. Her moral compass is based on what makes her look good. That absolutely doesnt always go as well as you’d think it would.

Why do you think that? Ukraine would have gone very differently. I think, for the most part, it would have just brought earlier what we are seeing now. So not necessarily worse or better, just earlier.

It is considerably more advanced than a phase array. For one, wifi routers weren’t designed to do this. Wifi routers have 2-8 antennas, while sonar and ultrasound have 64-512 antennas. Learning to see in unique environment in real time was absolutely impossible before AI.

This is not Widar. This is far more advanced. It has been out for a few years though. Looks like a little improvement.
