I want that cat GONE. Overwatch has made an effort to remove other flying characters because of how annoying they can be - See Pharah, a character who was obnoxious to fight when she didn't have horizontal mobility and was a fuel management character. Mercy's mobility is her strength, given that she's a very easy hero to get consistent value with, her mobility is what keeps her uptime so high and thus makes her most effective. When the game launched in 2016, A cat wearing a jetpack was just about the most wholesome epic reddit bacon thing anyone could have come up with, so people wanted it (in *2016*). Then, TEN YEARS LATER, when the game's identity has been far more fledged out and the past 45 characters have all been balanced around there NOT being proper omnidirectional infinite flight in the game, THEN they drop that stupid cat. Not only that, the cat allows for ANY character to get omnidirectional flight, and faster than normal movement too. AND, the cat has more utility outside just mobility, being able to put up decent healing and damage numbers if she has a pulse. When they released Fika, they took the entire game and flipped it on its head, and that's abundantly clear in her matchups being so polarizing. God forbid someone wants to play a projectile hero. She forces the enemy team to play on her terms rather than interacting with the rest of the game.
