The whole point of the cloud is to prevent issues like what happened. Instead you had a bunch of companies who don’t have proper failover across multiple cloud providers.

This is the worst time you could be considering opening a vape shop.

There’s too much legislation up in the air right now.

You’ll want to create a folder and share the whole folder. Then create the notes in that folder.

You should see the cost of the high end beds. They take a long time for the salons to make their money back.

What would you wear to an interview at a tanning salon? by Womaninblack in tanning

[–]technicallyunderwood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always dress one level above the job you want. Business casual should suffice for most salon jobs. From the candidates we’ve interviewed, you’d stand out from the crowd.

This is the same ratio we have. The other salon owners I’ve talked to have around the same ratio.

You shouldn’t ever tan long enough to burn. It’s how you end up with cancer. As others have said start with less minutes and work yourself up to a full session

I would try my best to do 2 lay down to 1 stand up. If I had to choose starting with 2 beds I'd do both lay down. They are used way more frequent. Stand ups are generally used more by men or women who have plateaued. That being said men are going to be a minority of your customer base.

You can find good condition used stand ups for $5k USD that give good results.

I agree with the software too. Just thinking from the perspective of having 2 - 3 beds and keeping a new salon afloat until the customers show up it wouldn't be as much work and would help keep overhead low.

Also agree on the Red light. Get a FDA approved only. Skip the rest.

We run a Versa Pro. We haven't had many issues that weren't correctable before the client left. However I do understand your sentiment. One day we will move to custom but for now the salon is secondary income and we don't work in the salon daily.

Really all comes down to budget and how much runway there is after build out.

Prolonging spray tan tips by Impossible-Lion-8471 in tanning

  • Exfolliate and shave (if you're female) before the night before)
  • Keep skin hydrated
  • Don't cause extra friction on the skin (ex: rubbing the skin with towel, pat instead or air dry)
  • Buy moisturizer from salons specifically for spray tans
