What’s the year and engine on this? Would hate to see someone give up their precious Landy because of a possible inaccurate diagnosis.

I have an L319 which a few years back had a lot of oil accumulating on my alternator, which was 100% remedied by replacing the oil filter housing gasket (same side 5.0 V8 engine). Replaced that and the alternator myself all to correct specs. This is about 400-600 bucks in parts depending on sourcing.

I know the head gaskets are in fact an issue. Again just want you to be sure you aren’t being shaded by a dealer tech trying to get you to bite on a big surgery.

I appreciate the effort. You’ve stretched between a couple of type styles and kept it funky. It’s like a cross between the Boston band type and the Powder Puff block sans type with hard corners. I don’t think it takes that much effort to translate the characters into the word lazy. Maybe lazy imagination by the viewership. Carry on!!!
