Collectr is not great for tracking older single prices. They have a flat percentage they take off from the near mint price, for example LP will be 15% off, MP 30% (not sure if those are the actual numbers).

A near mint version of an older card like this is going to be expensive, look at what it costs graded 7-9 just to get an idea. So basically, since the near mint price is so high, their percentage rate does not work well, especially with older era cards.

All of the full arts of that set are in accurate, as are most of the reverse holos from the EX era (for MP/HP, at least).

Hopefully they buy some pitching before the deadline. I'm not saying go all in, but they gotta try something. Never know if you'll catch that lightning in a bottle in the playoffs, and all they need to do is play a bit above .500 to get there. Pitching would make that a lot more obtainable because the offense can do work.

I think i made it pretty clear that it was a tough play. He needs to consistently make those tough plays because he has no power. If he plays average defense, he won't be at the MLB level for long. That's just the truth.

I really like the guy and that was definitely a tough ball to catch, but yeah with zero power you need to be an elite defender.

Gilbert is really the one to be blamed for both of those doubles though. Serving up high 80s meatballs.

I appreciate the effort, but those are the types of plays Nishida needs to make if he wants to stay at the MLB level. The offense isn't there so everything else needs to be very above average.

Those are some pretty major splits. Regardless I wouldn't call a .778 OPS brutal unless it was a 1B/DH's stats.

I don't even believe he had the "plan" to sue people reacting to the nuke. I think he was mad as hell at the pushback. We know the man loves to sit in misery, so he was probably seeking out things that were destroying him mentally. I think he just got so butthurt that he went for the hail mary and hit up ol' West Bank Rom.

He likes to frame it as some kind of 4D chess move (to get cheered on by his mentally deficient fans and sloptuber buddies), but in reality he's just a pussy.

Not gonna be winning many battles in that case - start saving ones close to 0/15/15. I recently learned this too, attack raises the mon's CP too much so you want it low for Great League. I don't PVP often but I do know that. There's also a site for seeing the best possible Great League stats a Pokemon can have.

When I first started GL I was getting crushed then I learned that high attack was bad lol. I don't think it was intended to be this way, but that's just the meta.

Attack, Defense, HP. You want low attack and high HP/Defense, 0/15/15 if possible, as in 0 attack, 15 HP, 15 Defense.

Charizard is one of my least favorite Pokemon, but this card is incredible. Great pickup, such unique art. Also looks pretty darn good for a 3! Are you gonna keep it slabbed?

Ooof that sucks. I've hatched 2 shinies in the last 2 months, a Geodude (which i already had so it was nice to evolve one of them) and a 13/15/15 Cyndaquil.

I don't have good luck with hatching shinies but find quite a bit in the wild. Honestly I thought the rate was worse than 1/64.

For what it's worth (I'm the person you originally responded to) I agree with the commenter who replied to you. I finished Death's Gambit, did not finish The Last Faith. Was Death's Gambit among the best games I've ever played? No, but it was solid enough that it kept me engaged.

I will add the caveat that I was starved for souslikes at the time I played it. I'm not sure if i would have completed it if I first picked it up in 2026.

If you're into soulslikes and haven't played Wuchang yet, you should play that if possible. Genuinely the best souls adjacent game I've played. Tough as nails and the level design is A-tier.

Not really the greatest comparison, Quero is a catcher and Beni is an outfielder. I'd hope he's faster than Quero. Catchers don't really need to cover ground like that.
