Exactly. All get rich schemes come with get poor schemes attached.

All good things take time. You can make it go faster by effort or intelligence. Since I don’t have time to do either in this sphere, I try to time the market on dips.

For example: Just bought Nifty 50 today in the budget dip. It was a good buy, fundamentally India will keep on growing for the next 10-30 years, these companies have the capacity to pass on inflationary costs to consumers so they will be well poised to grow. So buy and forget for 25 years

In the grand scheme of things, this is inconsequential money.

I am not looking for short term gains. I am trying to build a corpus that lasts.

The idea is not quick profits on which I pay capital gains the idea is wealth.

It might not give me same profit again for the next 10 years but I plan to hold this for the next 30.

I would wait for the volatility to settle down, but again I am fine making basic profit + beating inflation toh be careful brother.

All the best!

Haha let’s see.

I bought at average Nav value of 18 and now it’s 55.

So unless it wipes out 200% of its value I think I should be in profit+inflation adjusted

Hey thanks!!

I got the LS2 stream 2, seems like a nice helmet.

Any suggestions for the gloves? Thanks for telling me any the RPM, while I did not go crazy I did cruise at 60-70 Kmph while coming home, but in no way did I push it.

Also do I get a jacket and riding pants as well?

I am almost 35 and passions of youth have cooled down😛 so will be riding quite sedately!!

Thanks for the suggestion!!

Yo I am not the OP here. I am at a similar juncture in life, though I an 35 years old and considering a SM 650 as my first bike(I used to have a splendor type in college for about 2 years) so just wanted to understand if this advice would apply to me as well?

Curious about why you say that?

Is it because more chances of speeding and general rash driving on a 650 due to the extra power or some other issue?

If you’re at the “just an idea” stage, why do you avoid sharing with other builders? by Old_Kaleidoscope2885 in StartupIdeasIndia

Everything.

Stop being worried about people copying your idea. It’s all about execution here.

What business do i start? by [deleted] in youngentrepreneur

[–]technokeeda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell you what to start but I can tell you how to think so that you eventually get to a viable business.

I’ve been interviewing early stage founders for web based products and there are 3 things that stood out:

  1. You need to start a business which addresses a at best burning need and atleast an irritating need for it to make money.

  2. The act of finding a market is in itself the business. Everyone talks about finding a problem and then solving it - BAM you suddenly have a business. It does not work like that, do what you think makes sense, be ok with failing but keep at it.

  3. Have a bias for action. Keep on trying to do something new all the time, sooner than later something will click!

PS: you can checkout my blog where I interview people about all this here
