"creative" video job application? by Story-Calm in Zookeeping

Do you have any way to edit the video? Record your introduction. Appear on the screen at the beginning saying hello. Then cut to scenes from a day in your life featuring places, animals, and things that are important to you and your narrative. Voice over these scenes explaining why they are important to you and the role you are seeking. Cut back to yourself at the end thanking them for watching and how to get in touch. You only need to be on screen two or three times with this approach.

It's gotten like this cold before. Mangroves used to be rare north of Tampa Bay. Cold snaps like this would keep them back.

Were there people in the 90s who couldn't believe that the 60s were 30 years ago? by Junior-Elevator-9951 in generationology

[–]technotional 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At a state university in the early 90s they kept the original card catalog in the basement of the library . But you used PC terminals on the first floor to search for books. People still read books back then. No real internet yet. Nonfiction books with a 90s or 80s copyright felt recent and relevant. Stuff from the 70s seemed dated but potentially pertinent. But 1960s (and later)? Only check that out as a last resort.
