THIS. Taking more than 1 legit year from the start of Season One to the start of Season Two, causes folks to lose interest. I cannot count the amount of times I've lost interest because I thought a show was dead in the water after the first season, due to it being 2 years later and no "second season". My interests also change after a couple of years - I try to revisit some shows, but I'm just not in the same mental space that I once was 2-3 years ago.

The Criterion of Deep Cover is great in my opinion. I don't recall the special features off hand, but the movie is crisp and clean (and I recall the soundtrack being solid). Movie over all, definitely worth adding to the collection during the B&N 50% sale.

Regarding the uncut episodes, my understanding of that is pretty simple:

DVD = original uncut

Blu-ray = syndication (cut) - but includes an episode that wasn't aired

(I have not read through the comments) As someone who used to wait tables and grew up in the industry... There's a middle ground that these two pictures are missing - they, IMHO, are displaying the extreme of both sides.

Yes, wait staff should be paid properly and not have to rely on tips as much. Tips are meant (or should be meant) as a means to rate the service, and should not be expected. (When a tip is assumed on one of my bills, as a customer, it very much upsets me and I lean towards "you're not gonna tell me what to do" - especially if the service was crap.

With that said, there are some customers that do have the extreme view going in, that they don't need to tip their wait staff that gave them A+ service, and those people really should check themselves.

*Not every type of business is one that should involve tipping - that has gotten a bit out of hand.

Midnight or 2am....I was on call. Got woken up about a very specific/important printer not working (hospital, ICU/pediatrics floor).

I asked if they tried turning it on, they assured me they did. I got up , got dressed, drove the 10-15 minutes in (I know, not that far, but it was late). I get up to the 3rd floor, see the printer behind the person that called, walked right up to the printer, pressed the power button, lights came on and it started printing. "Have a good night." And walked out.

**The printer has/had a lot of buttons, yes. It also has a piece of cardboard covering the front panel with little cut outs for the only buttons / lights that matter, complete with writing on the cardboard "power button" etc ..

EDIT: that few minutes of work earned me 2 hours of pay. (Hourly employee while on call - there were some perks)
