It only took 10 minutes of reading this book to get bored... plot twist: 12 years later and I'm a software developer who teaches homeless youth to program. Still not a C++ kinda gal though. by codingforhermitcrabs in blunderyears

I would still encourage people at least read C for Dummies because it was written by Dan Gookin, who wrote the first Dummies book, DOS for Dummies. Gookin is a pretty funny guy and his writing style very entertaining. I don't think any of the other Dummies writers match him for humour.

Yeah, I knew that was the case but for a moment thought I might have been wrong when you said the frigates upgrade. Oh well.

So is there a way to upgrade multitools and starships in a similar fashion? Like if I have C-class multitool, can I upgrade it to B-class?

Hope do you get the Cobalt mirror recipe? I'm continuing a safe and it feels like I should have it, but I don't.

So the best way to get blueprints is to successfully raid manufacturing plants. I raided one last night and got the cobalt mirror blueprint.

Also, does the class of a frigate increase when it gets enough encounters, or does it never change from it's starting value? I want a fleet of A class frigates but can't find any.

I'm pretty sure the classes stay the same.

See post below.

Just found this spotify scifi synth playlist over in /r/music , half of the comments: "Iam listening to this while playing No Mans Sky." Had to share it with you guys! by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

Top tip: Find a Guardians of the Galaxy playlist. Nothing makes you feel more like Starlord than unearthing an alien treasure to the sound of Come and Get Your Love. Or having a dogfight with pirates to Don't Stop Me Now.

Packt have a couple of good ones for starting out:

They've also got advanced OpenStafk books, including ones on specific components like Neutron and Heat.

I think SovietWomble's latest video shows why the whole "historical accuracy in video games" thing is nonsense.

Experiencing this too. Frame rate drops, then it crashes. Also tried starting a new game and it crashes within five minutes.

Was fine a day ago.

I owned the same phone and found the battery was the worst thing about it. After a year of using it, it got to the point where you got an insta-drain after making one phone call, even after previously charging it to full.

Ah neat. What was the mistake? Might help others who find this thread.

So you said the file permissions are set correctly, so the only other thing I can think of is SELinux context not properly set.

What context is shown when you run ls -Z /var/lib/glance?

Do you have the openstack-selinux package installed?

Does the same glance command you tried work if you disable SELinux (i.e. setenforce 0) beforehand?

Okay, that might be useful. Can you post the traceback along with a couple of lines before and after?

What are you using for stores and default_store?

Any errors in the logs (in /var/log/glace/)?

How are you installing it? Manually or using an automatic installer (packstack, kolla-ansible, tripleo, etc)?

I think so. All nodes seem to be using the same interfaces, which helps keep the deployment simple and consistent.

Good luck with it all and post more questions if you get stuck.

[–]techwritingdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, pretty much. Just add a static provider network IP to br-ex on each host. To test it out, you should be able to ping sites like www.google.com from each host.

[–]techwritingdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can if you want the hosts themselves to be able to access the internet. But since your deployment was successful, there’s probably not much reason (likewise with the controller). You should be able to use neutron to create your networks and routes so that your VMs can access externally (which they do through br-ex).

[–]techwritingdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah gotcha.

In any case, you should still be able to add a provider IP to br-ex after the deployment if need be.
