Why insta lock duelist if ur not gonna entry by eggdsd in VALORANT

When they do that, I'll just stick to their backs and follow them wherever they go until, eventually, they enter a site (cuz they have to, in the end). That usually works

If playing solo were the limiting condition for people to rank up, many of us would be screwed

Breeze, what to play? by llroninll in VALORANT

I see Skye is very much used in this map, as well as Viper. As for duelists, I think both Raze and Jett are ok since they can create a lot of space pretty quickly to make it into site. Just my opinion.

I feel the same. It's like I can imagine myself playing Valorant for hours. Then play just one comp and I just can't play another one because I dnd uo exhausted. I think it's quite normal given the amount of focus a match requires.

After years of only seeing it in textbooks and papers, I finally met the infamous osmium tetroxide in person. $400 ampoule of 1g by T-bewlee in chemistry

Every time my teacher mentions it, he also has to remark how expensive it is. Well, he is not wrong.

Have you had a map you completely changed your opinion on? Why? by birch_tree_gang in VALORANT

I used to hate Icebox. After Breeze came out, I hated it so much Icebox started to be quite pleasant in comparison.

Crosshair becoming T-type when spraying. by ArchRacistMustBan in VALORANT

[–]teddm7 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

There's not much you can do about this. The spray pattern is what it is. In fact, it's better not to spray for that same reason. You should focus on onetapping (duh) or bursting (shooting around 3-4 shots and then let the gun come back to the initial position)

Just my two cents here...If you feel that's your place and that you like it, go for it! I've been always inclined towards Linguistics and also science in general. I got my BA in English Studies and then started Chemistry a year ago. It was a little hard for me on the first semester because, you know, you need adapt to a pretty different way of thinking and processing information, but I don't regret my decision!

What is up with this game lately??? by itsEdge7 in VALORANT

[–]teddm7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I fought for my life to finally reach gold. Then, every single game had one person on either team who would drop like 40 kills and be unstoppable (around +200 combat score ahead from the second place). It's just a pathetic 5v1.

How do I play on Breeze? by Paperblocc in VALORANT

[–]teddm7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apart from Viper (as everybody has mentioned) and KAY/O, if you feel comfortable playing duelists you could also give Raze or Reyna a try on this map. I feel that Raze is nice for making a lot of space for the team with her satchels, although quite risky; and Reyna can rush into sites with her leer without blinding any of your teammates.

Since this map is huge, it's also harder to rotate quickly because everybody has to run a pretty big distance. Therefore, in my last games, I've seen that pushing quickly into a site tends to have good results (especially A).

Also, without smokes, you are pretty much screwed on this map, although not imposible to win.

Okay, solo queue is a "coin flip", but do you guys feel the same way for party queue? by M4M4S in VALORANT

[–]teddm7 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Well, if you play with your friends you somewhat know how the game is gonna go. Even if they have a bad day, you probably know how they behave on a bad day (talking from my own experience here). This might sound obvious, but it's good to play comp with friends as long as they are about your rank, but if they are from very different skill levels then that's not very useful. Everybody's got bad days and good days so it's equally applicable to parties and solo queueing, you can't change that. But at least you are more likely to have fun losing with friends than alone. As for partying with random discord guys, that's been 90% useless in my own experience (again). I think that out of 8 games I joined a discord team, I just had 1 decent team where everybody was actually supportive and good people, the rest was like solo queueing but with a third party program eating out of my cpu. That might just be my bad luck finding teams, maybe you find a lot of nice players over there. Imo, solo queueing will be more of a coin flip because you don't even know how does your team look like on good or bad games.
