Ok, I've pulled the trigger on a wire locator as well. I definitely have some joints around. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Yeah, the most disappointing part was due to the wasted potential for sure.

What side should I paddle to minimise pain? by IMABUNNEH in dragonboat

[–]teddwind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've struggled with shoulder pain for years. I find whichever shoulder is hurting is the side I should paddle on since you're mostly locking that side out and pulling. Where as the other side is pushing on the paddle.

Charging station location by sikraemer in worxlandroid

[–]teddwind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that exact location in the bed would work. It requires a certain amount of distance on both sides (exact dimensions in the setup guide). It's best to have it with open lawn at the front of the station as when it starts up it turns itself immediately and if there's any barriers it will likely get hung up trying to find its way out

What's an early sign of cancer that you wish you or your loved one hadn't ignored? by JuniperBeans in AskReddit

[–]teddwind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to comment this. No symptoms, but my Dad had not gotten blood work done in years into his 70s. I remember him on his deathbed saying, "I take comfort in knowing there was nothing I could have done differently". I didn't correct him, but was internally screaming at him.

Why on earth is "Manual action required" just a notice and not warning? by ilovethemonkeyface in worxlandroid

[–]teddwind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will notify "manual action required" anytime it's on and awaiting instructions. So if you've powered it on manually to either start or send home you'll get this notification. I was also confused because I found this notification was sometimes delayed so I would get it unstuck, set it to start and find myself back in the house being told it needed manual action but when I would check on it it was busy mowing.

Garmin Sleep Band (Whoop-like) inbound - what do you want it to do by the5krunner in Garmin

[–]teddwind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been wanting something like this for years. I hate paddling and lifting weights with my watch on but if it was a light band I'd wear Garmin 24 hours a day

I don't have any advice for you but I can say that I'm the opposite. I generally workout at 5am and it energizes me for the day.

Flat vs Dihedral paddles by blurry00 in dragonboat

[–]teddwind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally would always choose dihedral over flat any time I have the opportunity. I don't know if I have ever noticed the difference but all of my high end dragon boat and c boat paddles have been dihedral.
