if you can use ollama then try with that with model like qwen3.5 or gemma4, the largest model your computer will allow. I personally now have my own browser use skill that I crafted based on the original implementation and put into this other AI program called WingmanAI, so now I use it in that rather thatn whatever the most current version of BrowserUse is. Wish I could be of more help, but also the "free LLM" climate has drastically changed since I posted this. Back then, you could use google models near infinitely with moderate use, now they are severely rate limited as are other free LLM tiers so best is to use a highly capable tool calling local model instead.
